Whisk

This little bakery is adorable. I love that we're getting more bakeries to the Wheeling area finally! Whisk offers a selection of cookies, cakes, and even lunch. We chose to stick with desserts for the day and picked up a set of cupcakes and one cookie. The cake of the cupcake is so delicate and really well done the only complaint I would say is that the frosting on most taste about the same so there isn't a lot of variety in flavor. I also wasn't the biggest fan of the frosting in general. But the cookie was really well baked and you can tell that everything here is made with love. The baker really should be commended on their ability because the foundation of the cupcake and the cookie were both so well done!

This place is wonderful! I love their cupcakes and their lemon bars are divine. Their chicken salad sandwich on a croissant is also spot in and their chips pair beautifully with them. Service is always friendly and their cold salads that they rotate regularly are excellent. Definitely try the orzo pasta salad!

The first time I ate a Whisk cupcake, I declared that it was the best cupcake I had ever eaten.. And years later, this still holds true! I was thrilled to have them bake the cake and cupcakes for our wedding. We enjoyed our tasting options so much, it was hard to just pick a few flavors. They were very flexible with the timeframe of our decision making. They took my inspiration photo for our cake and re-created it perfectly. I highly recommend Whisk for your wedding, or any other occasion! I promise, your guests will be impressed!

Picked up the gourmet chicken salad sandwich. It was served on thick, but stuff focaccia bread. The sandwich was very tasty and quickly gone! It came with some nice kettle chips that complimented the sandwich nicely. Well worth stopping in here for a light lunch and to pick up some amazing treats while you're there. I picked up a carrot cake muffin for later.
