Nick's Diner

It was a excellent reminiscent of my childhood. Growing up in Wheaton Md Nick's Diner was a dining experience l had as a child. I'm always honest about each restaurant l review even if it's a sentimental environment. I wish when you pull up the front door was a different color than the building. Myself and another patron walked around for a while before we found the opening. I'm sure Nick's has many regulars but for new guests it's a challenge to get in. The place is smaller than l remember with that said it's definitely worth the wait. The food is fresh and cooked to perfection. I ordered eggs,bacon,pancakes, potatoes. All were cooked with love. I do wish they carried Coke products also bottled water.

Went there for the first time. I ordered a spinach and cheese omelette with home fries and bacon on the side. Food was good. The guy who cooked the food kept picking up stuff from the floor and not changing his gloves before going back to the stove. This bothered me. Don't think I will be back. Unless I talk to the chef about how important it is to change his gloves.

I can't believe I lived here as long as I have without going to Nick's! Great breakfast: delectable hash browns & fantastic bacon. Eggs were undercooked. I don't mind runny yolks, but food safety demands whites be set. These weren't, I'll ask for over hard next time. Were it not for that & the table that rocked (we changed tables), I'd give 5 stars straight across.

Historic State gem, Nick Diner has been there for decades. Today, my family and I finally had the opportunity to try their food. We ordered breakfast and it was absolutely delicious. A little less pricey than other dinners. I gave the atmosphere 3 star only because it's a small diner and compact. All the seats are close to each other but aside from that, it's a lovely community place.

Awesome diner experience, food was fantastic! The service was great and the place is an old style diner which is what we wanted. Kids enjoyed all the dishes and so did the adults. Chocolate chip pancakes were great and so was the big breakfast with tasty potatoes. Steak sandwich was fantastic as well. Looking forward to a next visit to try the omelettes and French toast that look good
