The food was actually hot. And it had a good taste. And the staff was very professional. This will probably be the one place I can think of that does not have the after effect of eating the McDonald's food. In other words you feel weight it down and very heavy. The food we purchase here did not give that feeling even after 1 hour. Way to go.

This is hands down the worst McDonald’s in the city. The absolute worst staff, with the worst attitudes. It never fails every single time I come here I can order two things and my order will still be missing items or just completely wrong. And if you go back up there to have it fixed your just greeted with more attitudes like your a Karen for your food being wrong. Half this staff can’t read a receipt, I truly would love to know who hires these people. This place is averaging 3 star reviews yet everytime you pull into the parking lot you will hear people walking out screaming to go ANYWHERE ELSE. Such an awful establishment.

I am being nice with 3 stars. I have lived in Westland for 24 years. Nothing has changed at this Mcdonalds in that time period. 95% of the time expect slow service. Dining room is usually fairly clean which is nice (I have not been in it since Covid). The quality of food is hit or miss. Once in a great while you will get very good food and the right order. Even if the food tastes good, you have a chance that the order is wrong. Yes, fast food is usually this way that you can get the wrong order, but this mcdonalds your odds of getting the wrong food are increased. Even though they have way of improving this, I find it always hard to get in and out onto the main roads because of traffic. Personally I would rather go the Ford road and Venoy Mcdonalds. At least at that Mcdonalds, most of the time you will fresh food and the correct order (the service can be slow at that one also). That is said to say that even though I live in walking distance from this Mcdonalds that I would prefer to drive 2 miles (4 miles round trip) to get a better chance at getting better quality. Yes 4 miles is not huge amount, but it should tell you something about this specific Mcdonalds. If you are really hungry and you see no cars in the drive thru, I guess it is not a bad choice, I have been inside and the only person and have waited 15 minutes for the food!

I regularly experience poor service at this location. Here's just a few:
1. Staff often ignores customers in the drive-thru. They will wait on customers in one lane, but ignore the other.
2. A complete mystery when they're closed. The location will often not have it's parking lot lights on, and sometimes will have all the lights on, and you'll sit in the drive-thru with no service. I've been there around 8:30 and had teenagers working there, ignoring me in the drive-thru, and then drove around saw the person who's supposed to be working the window playing on their phone. When I sat at the window, after 10 minutes they finally turned to me, opened the window and said they were closed. It's a common occurrence with this location, which closes apparently whenever employees feel like it.
3. The location has signs up saying that the lobby is open for diners again, but the doors are always locked. It actually has the signs all over the building advertising it.
4. Insanely slow lines that take over 20 minutes. I had employees there mess up my order and I didn't realize it until I got back home down the street. So I drove back and was forced to sit in line another 20 minutes and still didn't reach the speaker system to fix my order. I ended up giving up, since I was going to be late for work after spending almost an hour trying to get my food.
5. The slowness also has led to food often being cold. I frequently get burgers and fries that are ice cold at this location.
6. Bad service. My aunt went there one day and asked for fresh hot fries, because she was aware that the food was often cold here. After waiting a long time for her order, an employee brought out her food, which contained... ice cold fries that were completely cold to the touch. She drove around then to have employees give fresh fries like had been asked for in the first place, and was told by management that they weren't going to, because they had already given her the cold fries, completely negating her reason for waiting in the first place, and negating the request to drop it fresh.

Ordered 2 Fish Filets and asked for extra tarter sauce. They put SO MUCH tarter sauce, it was dripping out of the boxes when i pulled them out of the bag. The sandwich buns were also completely covered in tarter sauce. These "people" ruin every fast food business!

Pulled into the drive thru and was asked to wait a second. Patiently waited 5 minutes. I was again told to wait a second. Waited 3 more minutes and I finally said Hello into the mic. She responded by screaming into the mic saying to wait a second. I asked if I was going to be able to place an order because I had already waited almost 10 minutes. The employee proceeded to scream into the mic and at this point I couldn't even understand what she was saying. Then two employees started yelling into the mic telling me to pull up to the window. I said the way they were speaking was completely inappropriate and drove off. As I drove by, the two employees were waiting at the window as if they were wanting to confront me. I was with my three daughters just trying to get ice cream. The other drive thru lane had two cars able to place an order. I will say it was a different person (male) taking orders in the second lane. I had three upset kids thanks to McDonalds. I will not be visiting this location again and think management needs to take action. I understand in the world we live in, its hard to find employees but I think certain sacrifices should not be made to fill a body,

They consistently will ignore you at the speaker. You can be sitting there for 10 minutes with not a word. Then someone will pull up to the outside speaker and they take their order immediately.
Orders are often wrong and food is more often than not very cold.
Employees at the windows are often rude with few exceptions.

Waited in drive thru. Said hello several times and no one answered. I pulled up to the pay window and a young lady was filling the cup dispenser. I asked her if the drive thru was open. She said they were in the middle of a shift change and that I would have to pull around. If someone would have answered me the first time and told me about the shift change I would not have mind waiting. Not good customer service.
