Locals love it, I like it, you'll wanna try it. Went over holiday and good food fair prices. It's served like you were at home, sassy and saucy. Good people working here, they made me feel welcome. Thanks for the c-fish sandwich and smothered chops. Peas were spot on too.

For ourfirst visit to Celebrity Cafe - The menu features many wonderful soul food selections. It met and surpassed our expectations. The staff were pleasent and made you feel very welcome. I am so very happy I was introduced to Celebrity. We will be back again and again. Hats off to you.
My only improvement suggestion if I may offer is to lower the volume on the music during the early dinner hours for easy conversation.

nice spot to listen to music but the food sucks, poor excuse for soul food... Mac & Cheese was very bland with no flavor, not even salt & pepper. my shrimp tasted old and freezer burnt... The yams had no Brown Sugar, Cinnamon, no nutmeg.... Chicken wings had no seasoning

First of all, I seriously want to know what type of meat these people are serving. I got the smothered pork chop dinner with Mac and cheese and greens. The pork chops are served over white or yellow rice, but they were awful. The quality of the meat is poor like it came from Aldi or something. I would not recommend it. The customer service isn't the best either. They play r&b and sell liquor which is a plus. I enjoyed my sides too. This place is sort of a gem if you order the right thing.

I went here last night with a few of my cousins. This is a great spot. The drinks were good, and the catfish sandwhich was the best I have had in awhile. Tangela is one of the best bartenders in the city! You wont be disaappointed.
