Borealis Breads

I visited this place with some friends while looking for breakfast on the road. One of my friends is gluten and dairy free and we were looking through the menu for options that she could eat. After a quick scan we realized there likely wouldn’t be anything, and we politely asked the woman working there if there were any options. We were met with a very rude “no” and immediately left. I understand that there might not always be options but there’s no need to be rude about it.

My mother loves this bakery as do I. It's full of yummy treats that are beyond compare. I also want to take a moment to say thank you to the wonderful staff. My mom went in to pick up some treats to bring to a family gathering. In the extreme heat, my mother suddenly felt unwell. One of the staff noticed and quickly came over to offer her assistance. My mother was brought a couple of glasses of ice water and kept an eye on her for a little bit. The staff then drove my mother and her car home. Thank you for your kind care!

This is one business doing something right for decades in a row. I have never had a substandard quality product. Borealis' best products in order of personal favoritism: 1. Bread (there's a variety for everyone but Rosemary Salt is notorious); 2. Carrot Cake (best sold publicly for 3 towns around); 3. BLT (super sandwiches for a bakery); 4. Rum balls. Last and absolutely essential are the staff - they are kind, personable and hard working. It is very hot in there in the summers and the staff are still doing a great job. Super appreciate the cleanliness and cheery atmosphere.
