Panera Bread

One of the worst paneras I've been to. In a solidly empty panera, it took 20 minutes to get a sandwich and when I finally got it, there was almost no meat in it. The staff moved at a snail's pace and really made little effort given the amount of people waiting. The meat is allegedly "pre-portioned" but honestly it is the saddest sandwich I've ever gotten at a panera.

Very pleasant staff! I went during a busy Saturday lunch. It took only a little bit longer, but that’s to be expected anywhere. The important part is my order was correct, which had a LOT of modifiers due to dietary restrictions 😬, and the sandwich looked great, not sloppy! Staff was apologetic about the wait (which really was not horrendous) and kind.

Stopped in to try the new Chef Signature Chicken Sandwich and Free Beverage. Sandwich was very good. Probably will not get it again because it cost $11. Ordered a muffin and cookie to go, clerk put muffin in a bag and said you're all set $6.40 I looked in the bag and said where's the cookie, clerk says oh I'll get it for you. Really???

The issue at this particular Panera Bread was not the food, but the service. It wasn't necessarily bad, but the staff wasn't too engaging. As someone who has been in hospitality/customer service for the 22 years, I know this goes a long way. I'll frequent a place with less than the best food if the service is good before I'd frequent a place with the best food and terrible service. It's about balance people! There was a time I would have put Panera over the typical fast food place. But, this photo is an example of exactly why I disagree with fast food workers making $15/hr. Smh. I mean, the tuna is literally all over the bread. No presentation. I could barely eat it without it getting all over me. Please do better.

I am not sure what has happened at this location but the service and quality has gone down hill the last year. They mess up something every single order. Now dont get me wrong its not terrible. But they will always mess up one thing, ask for extra dressing get the normal amount, buy cinnamon swirl bagel receive a plain bagel, ask for utensils get none or buy mac and cheese and its half full or the wrong kind. So alot of little mistakes but if im paying $10 for a salad i expect to get what i ordered. Mistakes happen.. but every single time… Edit - 2 months later. Ive ordered 2 more times and theyve messed each order up. Go else where.
