Nucci's

Was good food. They really rushed us out at the end. Didn’t even ask us if we wanted desert. They close at 9:00 on a Saturday, we think. But never said anything about it. Just handed us the bill with no, by the way we close. Also, added 20% as the tip because we sat 6 but one didn’t eat and two left early. Good food, strange place.

I was waiting for my wife to finish up some shopping and she wanted me to find a place to eat. So I looked online for restaurants close by. I liked the menu that I saw at Nucci’s but there were some very very negative reviews and I thought how unfortunate. I should at least judge it for myself and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised! The owner greeted us when we arrived and he called me by name. My wife and I had great service from Steven and the food was first class. I come from a large, Italian family and we have dined many times in Sicily and around Italy. I have to say this was very genuine food. The manicotti were superb and the marinara sauce was very tasty. If you like tripe, it’s the best in town.

Awesome Italian food! Hubby and I were trying to find a spot for food before the movie and we came across this spot right down the street from the ACM theater!!! Not only was the food FANTASTIC!! The portions were enormous, very reasonably priced and the atmosphere and staff were great!! We even had the delight of coming across the owners Nick and Terry Nucci!! They really make you feel like your family there!!! Definitely our go to from now on, can’t wait to bring the kids!!!

We made reservations for 4pm (they open at 4)on a Sunday. I read many reviews after we made reservations. We were a little nervous, but went anyway. When you come in the door and look to the right it looks like a mom and pop convenience store. To the left is the dining room. It's nice enough. Our server, Jeremy, greeted us and took us to a table. He was very polite and attentive, but not too attentive. We ordered our dinners, a strip steak with mashed potatoes and a special, California Shrimp, 6 jumbo shrimp, zucchini, summer squash and ziti in a wine wine sauce. We both had salads. Both dinners were delicious. The prices are similar to most restaurants these days. We drove almost an hour to try Nucci's. Will go again.
