Avenue Eatz

On the hunt for great food.  Well in Pennsylvania getting there is the challenge.  All the roads snake through people's back yard, endless dead ends and way too many narrow roads.  So once you get through all that and more the prize is at the end. So it was today.  We compared all available choices for breakfast and sought out that one that may be overlooked. BINGO!  I had the Chesapeake City omelette and my friend Morning​ After.   Delicious.  So much so more food to go... Yes!   The staff was like eating in your kitchen at home, comfort and friendly combined.  And the food came quick, I was hungry...Thanks! Interior unpretentious and simple.  My rule the simpler the interior the better the food...BINGO! So definitely stop by, worth the drive...Um Definitively use a talking GPS to get here. Don't let the outside of the building slow you down, get out of the car and get a seat. We did Palm Sunday...Good choice the church is still going on and we beat the palms to the table.  Thank you Jesus.

Cozy diner with a couple of window seats and satisfying breakfast food. Our server was attentive, patient, fast, and made us feel comfortable. My thick French toast slices were huge, delicious, and still tasty that night and companion loved her meal and coffee too. The sausage patties and scrambled eggs were just as expected and I enjoyed my citrusy herbal tea. I strongly recommend having breakfast at Avenue Eatz! Only downer was a rather persistent fly that bothered us the whole time, but that was the first time my companion had experienced that there.

Great little spot for breakfast or lunch. Very unpretentious and always serves excellent food. I've had at least 5 different sandwiches and 1 or 2 salads and everything has been excellent. Big portions too. The service is always friendly and the owner is usually there too. Highly recommend this place if you want something different than the N. Wayne Ave options.

Large portions! Flavorful combinations of ingredients. 5 of us have each eaten someting different, all good. Only the pancakes were rated as "underwhelming" by the person. Other items were a delicious farmhouse omelette, avocado toast, a bagel with egg/salmon/cream cheese/capers/tomato (delish!), and a waffle. It's a comfortable place. We also like the self-serve coffee! We will eat here again, no doubt.

Nate and Katie. Thanks. Only been here once and don't usually post after a single visit. I may not be back soon, but not because I don't want to try the food again. Just live far from this yummy place. People were awesome and my breakfast sandwich on fresh made pretzel roll was excellent. I ordered a hamburger for later and it is tasty on a focaccia roll. Thanks for the hard work everybody there.
