I’m not sure if the woman working here was having a bad day, but I still want to be transparent with my experience so this doesn’t happen to anyone else or just so people know what goes on here.
I ordered an iced capp and an egg and cheese wake up wrap. I order this on the weekends at my usual Dunkin and it’s always great. As I was waiting for my wrap, I saw that the lady making it had just touched a piece of raw, uncooked bacon and then used that same gloved hand to close my wake up wrap.
I asked her if that was the order for me, she said yes. I explained I cannot eat bacon for allergen reasons. I apologized for the inconvenience. She then began to yell and raise her voice, telling me that this cross contimatinating happens everywhere I go and it doesn’t matter. I did not respond. She then began to talk about me with her coworkers, and so at that point I called out that if it was going to be an issue, I’d just take a refund. She then said that I was not going to her a refund because her coworker was making it again. She said that AGAIN, it doesn’t matter because this cross contaminating happens everywhere I go. I calmly explained to her that I had not been rude at all in my wish to have it remade due to the cross contimatinating of RAW MEAT and my wrap, and that this does not happen at my usual Dunkin as they are consistently changing gloves. I’m pretty sure this is also basic food safety knowledge. Anyways- they made it again. I was worried about eating it based on their reaction and clear lack of concern for consumer safety and allergens. I will never, ever spend another dime here, and I’m
Extremely disappointed with the workers I encountered today who 1) berated me and 2) watched their coworker berate me and then proceeded to trash talk me to her colleagues. I know the food service isn’t easy, I worked in it for five years, but this is Disgusting behavior
