Appleton Grill

Located on a corner with no street parking. I parked in the lot behind the building, but with no signs I was wary of getting a ticket. Service was great, but that was the highlight. The restaurant has high ceilings, but it has a weird layout and lacks atmosphere. No one else was there when I came in. Then I went to Applebee’s and they had a line. When I came late in the week they were out of 50% of their menu. Their reasoning was it was busy earlier in the week. Not their first year in business, so it’s just poor management. Suck it up and pay more from a store if you run out. I would highly recommend going to Applebee’s instead. Nice atmosphere, friendly service, and they had their whole menu.

A friend and I had lunch here on Wednesday- excellent food- portions are nice size- and had the left -overs for dinner. Our wait staff was friendly and knowledgeable about menu items. It is also completely accessible for all. Will definitely come here for lunch again and probably try a dinner in the near future!

The food was decent. Parking terrible. We went on a Saturday morning about 10:45 there was no other patrons the entire time we were there. When we walked in we, and the postman, had to wait around shouting "anybody here? Hello?" for as several minutes before the waitress wandered out from somewhere. The women's bathroom was filthy. Overflowing wastebaskets, paper toilet seat covers and TP and everywhere on the floor(literally piles of paper) and 3 of the 5 stalls were out of paper. Considering how slow the waitress moved (molasses in January comes to mind) and the lack of restaurant patrons on prime Saturday brunch time that bathroom had not been cleaned in weeks (!) We come to the area about once a year for a mini vacay. I seriously doubt this place will be open next year. Honestly, we wouldn't be back even if it was. Totally not impressed.
