Bogda Restaurant

First time trying Uyghur food and I was honestly so amazed! The lamb kebabs are probably some of the best I’ve ever had, these are some must haves. We also got the M2 and M7, both great hand pulled noodle dishes. We were only two people and we ordered a lot so it was a bit pricey, but definitely fed us for another meal!

Pretty good! Got 3 M7 Bogda Laghmans and the V6 Koktat Laghman. Apparently, the noodles can get pretty spicy (although that wasn't our experience) so if you don't tolerate spice well, you can ask for no spice. It's pretty filling and got a little greasy at the bottom of the bowl but overall, a positive experience.

The owner of this place is extremely kind! We were visiting a friend in the area and restrictions had just lifted to eating outside only. This place admittedly didn’t have outdoor seating but we heard so many good things about this place that we had to try the food. We got the dumplings, kebab and a noodle dish that they had recommended and the food was FANTASTIC. Obviously we got takeout but the owner did one step and above and told us we could take some chairs from the restaurant and one of their tables outside! He helped us carry everything outside and got us little black containers to use as bowls. The icing on the top of the cake was that he gave us all a water bottle each. It was boiling hot that day and we couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you Bogda Restaurant for showing us kindness and compassion!! You folks are the best and the food is sooo good. Amazing hospitality, amazing food. My friend and I arrived 20 minutes before closing, dine in wasn't open and being as hungry as we were, we decided to eat outside. The boss overheard and after confirming our intentions, opened up a table for us. There weren't glasses available so instead he gave us a couple cokes. On top of it all he even gave us extra portions because of how hungry we were. The food itself was hearty and delicious- I've never had such fall off the bone chicken before. Definitely a must go if you want something hearty and filling.
