We went to Scoop Du Jour on a weekend late afternoon and there was a short line, but it went by super quickly. We got their scoop of the day: green tea ($3.10 in a cup), it’s an additional $0.22 in a cone.
We loved the green tea ice cream, you can really taste the strong flavour of the matcha. As well, they have not increased their price throughout the years! They used to be in a truck and now they have relocated to beside Luster and Oak. They’re also only open in the summer time, so catch them if you can! Can’t wait to come back to try different flavours!

Scoop Du Jour is a cute and quick stop for some pretty decent ice cream options. They have their flavours on the Instagram page for quick viewing and have some decent options! I have tried Tiramisu, Nanaimo and St Jacob’s Apple Pie and all are lovely. Their cold brew was sub par but make it an Affogato and added the ice cream will make it more palatable. Definitely check out Scoop Du Jour this summer for a quick stop cool off!

This place is great! For the price the portions are really good and the exterior window service feels reminiscent of an old childhood alleyway ice cream place. So good value + good memories = great times!

My friend and I both got single scoops, which were very tasty! We got cookie dough and chocolate. The service was super quick and was a nice dessert on a hot day!

Awesome ice cream store. I always wanted to visit after seeing their other location (or was that a food truck) but after getting a not so stellar experience at a nearby ice cream shop decided to go check out Scoop. The staff’s always polite, friendly and very knowledgeable and their flavour selection is great! I got café rocher one time and lemon pie the other and they were both pretty good. Also their single scoop portions are generous so I’d probably get kiddie ones next time.

Didn't realize they found a permanent place and not serving from the truck anymore. Employee working was friendly, gave samples and following COVID protocols. Had tap to pay, and you get tons of ice cream for what you pay for. Ordered a double scoop and it was more like 6 giant scoops. Tried the cappuccino crunch and orange creamsicle, both fantastic flavours! Try them out!

Love this place. They always have delicious flavours and the price is reasonable. Their flavours change often so you may not get to have your favourites a lot. The chocolate hazelnut is the best

An interesting stationary ice cream truck off of king street at uptown Waterloo. They say that they source locally and they offer options and flavors that cater to a wide range of tastes, including vegan and goat milk ice creams.
Pleasant and quick service with wooden bench tables next and around the truck.
The reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5, it's a bit pricey for the portions that they offer, and the intensity of the taste, at least the serving I had, is not as strong as I expect from a specialty ice cream place. I'd go there again when I'm in the area.

The ice cream taste delicious, we got the "scoop of the day" (see what they did there? Huh? Yea? It's funny because they do what a lot of food places do of having an item of the day, but here it's a scoop of the day, but ironically enough, it's also their name, but the name is in French, so it sounds different than just calling it scoop of the day in English) which is offered at a discount compared to a regular scoop. They also have vegan and goat milk ice cream.

A really good ice cream place. I went on a busy day and the staff were quick yet still polite, they have many specialty ice creams from your regular banana split to "cookie monster", along with soft-serve, shakes, or regular scoop ice cream, overall a wide selection of flavours. The whiskey and almonds was really nice, too sweet for my taste but still an overall good quality dessert. Good idea for a easy family trip, end of date dessert or to go with friends.

Lovely ice-cream. Fun to see what the daily scoop is - and the price of the daily is significantly cheaper than choosing your own flavour. Cones by default are waffle cones. Good service, pleasant spot to sit at the picnic tables. There's a loyalty program with collecting stamps on a card - we will be back!

I have been here twice. I love that they have so many of my favourite ice cream companies here. It's so great to find someone that has Mapletons! And I love the belly vegan ice creams and London ice cream company. And they give a good quantity too! Good location and good service. Definitely coming back for a third visit!

A great ice-cream truck spot. Everyone loves this spot, on a nice day there is typically a short wait, but it’s worth it! The staff have had great customer service and always a smile! They also have vegan options as well which another reason they are a choice spot for us!
