Harvey's

Though the staff is nice, this is singlehandedly the SLOWEST fast-food restaurant I've ever been to. I understand that this isn't the fastest of fast-food chains; it's not McDonald's or Burger King, however, if I order a burger, I shouldn't be waiting almost a half hour for it in addition to the 15 minute wait from the person before me, before I could even place my order. I've given this place multiple chances, but they're just so slow every time.

As a loyal Harvey's customer I frequent them at least a couple of times a week usually for lunch on the go. I work in Waterdown and I have to say that this location is my favorite by far. Yes it's true that pretty much e every Harvey's order takes a little bit longer than most fast food burger joints but in my opinion the fresh ingredients and topped the way you like it experience is worth the wait. The service is always friendly and being a vegan the original veggie burger is my standing order and always hot and fresh as they usually inform me that they are cooking them fresh to order and within min minutes I'm enjoying a hot custom topped burger.

The only appealing thing about Harvey's like any fast food restaurant is that it's FAST FOOD. This location is not fast. They always make multiple cars pull up into number reserve spots. No matter how basic or small your order is. I'm all for efficiency. But this location is slow. Since they waste so much time you may as well go 20 feet to hello iris and actually get some real food.

Food is usually really good, when they have it. Unfortunately, many times, at dinner time! this location is totally out of Swiss Chalet. Customer service is lacking. Staff is primarily very young and nobody has given them the lowdown on how to make the customer happy. I’ve attempted to be in touch with the owner but so far, no reply. Shame really.

Rarely do I eat fast food but occasionally I treat myself to a Harveys veggie burger. Last two times I’ve gone to this location, the drive through has been ridiculously slow and my food is cold. Today I ordered a veggie burger and onion rings, 7$ and change, and was asked to park and they would bring it out to me. When the girl came to my car with my order, I quickly look in the bag, saw the rings, judged it as ok and drove home. When I got home, I found a beef and bacon cheeseburger, rings and fries costing some poor soul $14+. AND the order I received was supposed to include a bottle of water which the girl did not give me. If she had, I would have realized it was the wrong order. Either a very lousy system, or the people there just don’t care. Will definitely not go back. (And no I did not eat the burger….it was burnt)

Worst service I’ve had at any fast food restaurant. First time I ordered there I asked for extra ketchup packets and napkins, I didn’t receive either and they got my order wrong. Second time I asked for a grilled chicken wrap and got a crispy chicken wrap un toasted very loosely wrapped ice cold with no napkins once again. Big waste of money. I will not be going a third time to say the least!
