What an experience visiting here! A must when in DC, staff is above and beyond inviting, food is absolutely perfect. Nowhere else have I ever been where they will pull the decor from the wall and place it in the hands of a visiting musician to plug in and let music flow. I cannot wait for my next visit to Dive DC October 2019. Back at Dive Bar for live recording of Kevin B Klein’s 2nd album. He’ll have some bonus live tracks recorded here . Russell and Fabio welcome us back with amazing atmosphere and the best vibe in DC!!! The staff is superb! This is my best hangout place when visiting . Thank you!!

DIVE. Dive into this place, y'all! First of all, its all about the experience, right? From the moment you walk inside this place, time just stops and you are plugged into live music, traveling bands making a pit stop, or even an ever popular open mic night. The staff is awesome and friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They even let you play the electric guitars that are on the wall....Wait, WHAT! The music artist photography on the wall is phenomenal. There is not just great live music and wall art--The food! The food! OMG, every dish I had here was out of this world. If you are a carbanara fan, I am not kidding when I say the best in the city. The food menu is amazing! fresh, delicious ingredients. The chef is Japanese/Italian. You can taste it in the homemade past dishes. YUM!! The lava cake..to die for! the menus are tucked in old album covers, which is so cool. You must try. you'll be back, I promise.
