I have only been here twice. Both experiences have been out of this world. The food, the flavor, the attention to detail, and just everything is wonderfully amazing. The main experience of dinning is one thing, than you goto the dessert room. I love a good sweet, and yes. I don't drink, so haven't done the pairing, but friends have and they say it's wonderful. If you are looking for the perfect place to bring someone to a wonderful dinner, i cannot recommend this place enough. They are definitely top tier and the best experience I have ever experienced.

We had a wonderful night, the experience was mind blowing from the moment we walked up the stairs. My partner said this is the best meal he has ever had - thank you! Service was incredible and we loved the menu to take home, it was awesome to reflect on our experience. We are still raving about this.

This is a situation where five stars is not high enough. The entire dining experience is incredible from start to finish. Jônt is a vibe and the food is beyond excellent. Fantastic place to celebrate a special occasion- super thoughtful and detail oriented. The entire staff, including Chef Ryan and sommelier are awesome and personable- you might need to engage them in conversation first, but each staff member we chatted with seemed eager to chat and answer any questions. I personally enjoyed the playlist (primarily hip hop) and music level, but if you prefer a quiet dinner with low volume or classical music, this may not be the best fit. First timers might want to double check the cost before dining- we do quite a bit of fine dining and just a heads up that Jônt w/wine pairing is the most expensive in DC. With that said, we also think it’s the best.

This was the most amazing dining experience I’ve ever been a part of. My friend & I had an incredible time and everyone on the team was so welcoming and engaging. The sommelier Gabe was excellent and made our experience so much fun. Kinga was also fabulous! The energy, enthusiasm, music and vibes made it an all around unparalleled experience. Best girl’s night out and not a single pairing that wasn’t absolutely outstanding!

Jont is a must try in the city. We did the special Valentine’s Day dinner a while back and it was worth every penny. It was 30+ courses of different types of fish and meats and desserts at the end. Each course was explained to us by a chef while it being served. The wine menu is extensive; so many different options and great selections. The presentation was phenomenal. Every one was so friendly and welcoming and it was such a treat to get to see the staff working together to put together such a great menu and dinner service.

A straight up vibe. Equal parts sophisticated/fun, Jônt unquestionably delivers a 2 star experience. Every dish was interesting, beautiful and above all else delicious. The staff and sommelier were all unbelievably well versed in literally every aspect of service. It’s definitely a night I will remember.

My wife and I decided to treat ourselves while in DC to a special meal after a career change. She’s always wondered what it would be like to sit at a chef’s table and in this place every seat is at the chef’s table. There are only 16 chairs in the entire restaurant. The service and staff were absolutely amazing! We lost count of the number of courses brought to us. Everything, and I mean everything, tasted wonderful. It was a true dining experience for all your senses. We loved the vibe of the music, the smell of the kitchen, and the choreography of the staff. It was so much to take in, bordering on sensory overload but in a good way. This is definitely a once in a lifetime experience we recommend. We were encouraged to ask questions of the chefs and never felt rushed. When we were finally done, which we didn’t want to leave, we realized we had been there for over 3 hours. Highly recommend if you are ever wanting to splurge and enjoy a two Michelin star restaurant.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the prestigious two-Michelin stars Jont restaurant in Washington D.C., and I must say, it was an absolutely incredible experience. I chose this restaurant to celebrate my wife's birthday, and it turned out to be the perfect choice for such a special occasion. From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, we were greeted with warmth and elegance. The ambiance was sophisticated yet inviting, creating an intimate atmosphere that set the stage for an unforgettable evening. The attention to detail in every aspect of the restaurant was evident, from the carefully chosen decor to the impeccable service provided by the attentive staff. One of the highlights of our evening was the opportunity to witness the culinary magic happening at the open kitchen. We were seated at a table that offered a front-row view of the talented chefs in action. It was mesmerizing to watch their skillful hands as they crafted each dish with precision and creativity. This added an extra layer of excitement and anticipation to our dining experience. The tasting menu at Jont was an absolute masterpiece. Each course was a work of art, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The chef's expertise and culinary imagination were evident in every bite. From the delicate appetizers to the succulent meat dishes, all with an incredible Asian inspiration, every ingredient was thoughtfully sourced and expertly prepared. The menu showcased a perfect balance of flavors, textures, and aromas, leaving us in awe of the culinary prowess on display. As we moved from the open kitchen to the intimate dessert courses space, the atmosphere shifted to a more intimate setting. The soft lighting and cozy seating created a romantic ambiance that was ideal for celebrating my wife's birthday. The dessert courses were nothing short of divine. Each sweet creation was a harmonious blend of flavors and textures, showcasing the pastry chef's incredible talent. It was a fitting end to an exceptional culinary journey. Throughout the evening, the service at Jont was impeccable. The staff was knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely passionate about their craft. They guided us through the menu, explaining each dish in detail and offering thoughtful recommendations. Their warm and friendly demeanor made us feel welcome and well taken care of, further enhancing our dining experience. I highly recommend Jont to anyone seeking an extraordinary gastronomic journey in Washington D.C. It truly deserves not two … but Three Michelin stars and is a testament to the dedication and passion of the entire team behind this remarkable establishment.

I can not say enough good things about this resturant. The chef has taken the time to work out every detail of your 3 hour experience sitting at the chefs table. The best I can describe it is that it’s a mixture of a play and a magic show. Higher level managers would enter the kitchen at regular intervals adding new energy to the resturant. Music plays loudly the entire meal but it does not prevent you from talking. The courses or expressions as the chefs team likes to call them start off amazing and you think how can it get better. Well it does get better. Every course better than the last. The two expressions that stand out of the 31 I experienced was the duck and the desert. After serving us top grade wagu beef, they unconventionally served duck after it. All I can say is it felt like the chef had turned up the flavor of the dish to 11. It was the most amazing dish I have ever had. I don’t think you can get it anywhere else. The other noteworthy dish was the 3rd dessert out of 4 they gave as part of their menu. I don’t know exactly what it was but it was a pastry with amazing cream. I don’t think it has a name, but I call it awesome because that’s how it is. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. It was enjoyable to hear about their work and experiences. I really have never had an experience like it. It is one of a kind. I guess I have to share the one negative experience I had that night. When we went into the other room for dessert there was a bartender who was not friendly like the rest of the staff. They only worked in the dessert area and not in the kitchen so it wasn’t a big deal but they purposefully ignore me when I spoke to them and was staring at me weirdly. But as I said, out of 20 staff this is the only person to behave that way so I’m sure something was going on from them. I would definitely come back to Jont again. Maybe when the menu changes to summer or fall.
