I was at D.C. for the weekend with peers and we stopped at Surfside for food. As a person who has worked at a restaurant for almost 4 years I was left impressed with not only the service, but how delicious the food was!!! I will definitely be coming back next time I’m around! 😋

Nice roomy place, food is great, open late night which is definitely a plus in this neighborhood. They occasionally even have a guy with a guitar and a mic playing for fun. Lots of TVs, a decent place to catch a game etc. I highly recommend the Cabo San Lucas tacos.

The food in this place is great. The restaurant's decor is colorful and inviting, adorned with a lot of surf tables. The pleasant aroma of spices and sizzling meat fills the air, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere perfect for enjoying a delicious meal. The servers were knowledgeable about the menu and happily offered recommendations based on individual preferences. They also ensured our drinks were refilled promptly, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.
While the quality of the food justifies the cost, I must admit that the prices at Surfside are slightly on the higher side. Nevertheless, considering the generous portions and the outstanding taste, it's well worth the occasional splurge.

I had the St Lucia Taco, incredible flavor! I don’t like spicy food, but this although not spicy, it had a little bit of it. The service was fast and our server Eva was awesome. Definitely recommend!

Celebrating my client’s (and friend’s) successful performance at the Greenberg Theatre next door. We sat on the partially open-air patio and it was very comfortable with a large group. Wrap-around bar looked very cool too so we might be coming back just to hang out. Piña colada on the rocks and Mezcal Essencial were great. Food was excellent.

Surfside is always great! Our waitress was super nice and the manager was awesome as well. Our table had a spill. The manager was there almost instantly helping clean up the spill and replacing the drink. We had an amazing dining experience! Thanks Surfside staff😊

Always a fan of Surfside ! I usually go to the N street location but today I wanted to try this location and everything was amazing I wasn’t disappointed. Service was amazing. The pork belly sliders is a must. I do recommend giving this location a try if you haven’t or giving Surfside in general a try 👍🏼

My official Memorial Day festivities began with dinner at this surf themed restaurant. It is our second visit and the food and service could not have been better. This kitchen does not mess around. Chef and crew “Bravo!” Our server, Tucker, was phenomenal. He was so professional and polite and flawless. If I was in this industry, I would snatch him in a heartbeat. The frozen spicy margarita was delicious. Hats off to the bartender. The pork al pastor Island Nachos, our appetizer, was delicious. For our entrees, we had the Cayman Islands Enchiladas and the Rock House Bowl. Both were masterfully executed and served piping hot. What a perfect evening! Happy Memorial Day.

The food and drinks are always really good here. For drinks we had the spicy margarita, blood orange crush and the surfsider. All were awesome. We had the chicken fajitas and nachos, and in the past I have enjoyed the pork belly sliders.
What I love most about this place is that no matter where you sit, it feels like you’re outside. In the summer they can open basically all the walls of the restaurant to create the open air feeling.
I’m surprised it’s not more busy, because there are very few places like it but we never have a problem getting seats.
