My husband and I came here last year and just went again recently. Last year we did the flight, this year we chose the A la cart option. You can’t go wrong with either or! We enjoyed our time and the mixologist/bartender really cares about their craft in making the cocktails. They are delicious! Food - it’s small plates you don’t come here for the food but if you need some recommendations the grilled cheese, the wagyu tar tar, the Philly cheese steak. Drinks - I think it all depends on what you like they have a great cocktail selection from their menu, but they can also serve your vice. Overall, experience is truly magnificent and ambience is amazing. Can’t wait to go back!

Ambience was very relaxing with whites all over. Contemporary setting. The place was small but didn’t feel crowded. The service staff was very friendly and always had a smile. Out of 6 drinks, I liked 4. We were given an a complimentary drink as it was an anniversary. No hangover the next day. Definitely worth the buck. Good as expected was just ok. Grilled cheese is a must try. Banana bread could be skipped. Caviar @$115 was passable. Didn’t have proper texture to it.

Amazing drinks!! Best I’ve ever had!! The mixologist was so knowledgeable and skilled, watching him make everything was so fun! All the staff were incredible, they moved around and interacted with everyone like a graceful dance. You can order drinks in a flight or individually, and they have small plates available also. Highly recommend this place, you can only get in by reservation, but it’s worth planning ahead for!

A whimsical tour, the Willy Wonka of bar scenes in DC. While the cost was quite steep, there is a lot here that can't be done at your home bar. We came here with some friend who are experienced with cocktails, primarily coming from the rum and tiki world. We had no expectations, just looking to enjoy some unusual cocktails with stellar service and ambiance. This. Place. Delivered. Everything from check in, seating, pacing, lights, sounds, scents, were all incredibly manicured right down to the smallest detail. There isn't much else to say except you need to experience this in person to really get it. If you love cocktails with adventure this is the place for you. 5/5, 100% would recommend anyone coming here to celebrate something special. 👏

Barmini is absolutely worth the price. The mushroom waffle was incredible but I didn’t like the Philly cheesesteak one. When a cocktail in the flight was bad, they changed it out for us. We tipped an additional 20% on top of the already included tip because the entire team was amazing. The best service I’ve seen in years. Like wow good, I’m leaving out most of the videos and photos because I don’t want to spoil the experience. Do the cocktail flight. The decor however feels like a weird Stanley Kubrick film, that was the only downside. The decor is uncomfortable and discombobulated.

I’ve been to pretty much every major cocktail bar in LA, SF, Miami, NYC, Boston, and DC and this is cut above everyone else. This was my third time here. No one else takes the time to be as innovative as Barmini. Nothing is premixed and batched in advance. It’s clear they spent the time and effort to see everything through and elevate the experience for everyone. This is the first place I take anyone who visits me in the area and loves cocktails!

We did the flight for our anniversary and while it was pricey, it was worth it. The servers were very attentive, friendly, and inviting adding to a great variety in drinks. The brioche bread comes with an amazing miso butter, get it. For special occasions, I'll certainly keep this place in mind in the future!

A lovely evening! We came for the cocktail flight & ordered some bites to help with the alcohol consumption. I don’t want to spoil it by going through all the tiny details of our evening but know that the staff is professional & friendly, the cocktails are wonderfully curated, there’s bites if you get hungry & all in all a great evening to unwind & enjoy oneself!

Overall experience was well worth the price. The flavors of the drinks were complex but tasteful. Jeff was our server and he was super knowledgeable about all the various flavors. He was enthusiastic and super accommodating when there was a flavor that I wasn’t a fan of. Michael the manager on staff was amazing and checked in to ensure we were enjoying our experience at periodic points throughout the night. Overall worth it.
