Blarney Station

The first time I have ever been to this place was the first night they opened under a new ownership. The two young “security” boys were so disgustingly rude to my friend and I. I have never been treated with such disrespect at any establishment before and will for sure never be going back to this place. On top of it all the owner was drunk the entire time for their opening night and was absolutely no help to making it right for their new customers. The owners friends also bullied us into leaving and told us to not come back with a “big” group. All in all this place was terrible and we all will never return.

My friend and I are 23 years old and live just outside of warwick in new jersey. When we walked in the security guard took our IDs, and threatened to call the police and not give them back, claiming they were fake. It took forever for them to walk around the bar and ask multiple people if our IDs were real. I was willing to call the police to come and give us our IDs back at that point. They made us recite all of our info then finally gave them back. To top it all off they said we looked familiar after harassing us for half an hour. I have never had a problem getting in here before, and was even here a month ago. I have never been treated this way by any bar. I understand the importance of ensuring people are of age so maybe hire people that are actually good at doing that or get a scanner. The place sucks anyway.

I have to say this is a hidden gem. I was extremely pleased with the Irish Curry which is imported by the owner from Kerry, Ireland. I had the curry dry rub wings and the Irish curry chicken (substituted steak) and my wife had the Station Spring Rolls and the Dublinator cornedbeef sandwich. All amazing!!! I ordered the curry wings and a Dublinator to go. Highly recommended with amazing service and friendly staff

My sister and I went with her younger friends. The bouncer went around the entire bar asking everyone if her/her friend’s ID were fake. They’re absolutely real. She’s 23 years old. They kicked her and her friend out with real ID’s. This is absolutely ridiculous. They threatened to call the police which these young girls were all for so they could get their government issued ID’s back after a half hour of the crazy bouncer holding them hostage. Then the bouncer says “you look familiar” and gave them back. I’ve never witnessed anything more insane in all my 33 years of living. Hire security that can differentiate ID’s from the state you are bordering… the treatment/kicking them out was absolutely absurd
