We ordered from here for our Scout troop that were on Summer camp nearby, thirteen Scouts and eight leaders. It was a real mix of items wanted and this chip shop dealt with it amazingly! Everything was correct and the whole order was served up hot and on time. We'd definitely buy from here again. Just the thing after a long day at Brownsea Island. Thank you very much from the 8th Winchester Scouts :)

We really enjoyed both the fish and chips and veggie burger- especially the chips were very good as they were homemade. The staff was friendly and nice.

We visit this Fish and Chip shop regularly. We have yet to try the pizzas or burgers but the menu is comprehensive and inviting! Fish and chips are always good and smaller children's dishes are also good. Poor reviews recently are unnecessary - I am sure business is busy at this time of year - all good things come to those who wait - hence the queues outside the shop!

Thr new owners have settled in now and the place is serving good food at a good price. It can get very busy and there can be a wait but on the whole it's worth it. Big improvement over the past few years from 3 to 5 star in my opinion. Also now has a proper pizza oven for pizza and they do free local delivery too.

The cod was SO chunky and flakey. Haddock too. All well cooked and served with fab fat chips too.
Batter was lovely and light 👍🏼
Definitely gonna revisit.
