Two guys running a great little place for 30+ years, recommend stopping in for a chat or to grab a bite if you're in the area. Also recommend the steak tips, marinated with a sweet and savory concoction and cooked to perfection, and can never go wrong with a slice of pizza!

I wanted to love this place. Ordered a steak tip sub, cooked rare with american cheese. Was given a sub with no cheese and maybe 3-4oz total of burnt to death shoe leather steak tips. $16 sub fail.

For years I heard from friends that the marinated steak tips from the Sub-Way were great. I finally tried them and agree. If you order from The Sub-Way bring cash and order the steak tips. You won't regret it. Pizza was good too. Looking forward to ordering again. The staff were friendly as well. Thanks!

Nice to have local spots like these. Went here because my plumber recommended it. Have been here twice since then. Purchased a steak & cheese and would not recommend; it was dry and lacked flavor. The steak tips on the other hand were much better. They oozed juice. You can get a baked potato on the side as well.

Cute little place on a corner in Waltham! Best steak sub I've ever had in my life!!! We need something like this in NC. Went back for a 2nd steak sub on my last visit to Boston. Still just as bangin' good as the 1st one. I will definitely return next time we're in Boston & I highly recommend this place. The guys that run this place were also super friendly & helpful when it came to answering all our questions!

Best steak tips around- they taste ALOT like the famous Newbridge Cafe in Chelsea. I've been eating here for 20+ years and I've never had anything but great experiences. The ultimate hidden gem.
I always order the tips sub straight up.
The pizza is delicious too- always has a great char.
The dudes there are wicked nice and always have been.
