Panera Bread

I went in today after not having gone in a while and was very disappointed... they gave my sandwich to someone else and could not find my order, finally the manager said we'll make you another sandwich. That was great but I had to wait another 10 minutes until the two lady's finished yapping in between make my breakfast sandwich. They got offended when I said I don't have all day. Now I know why the place was empty... also the coffee was cold which I guess is expected as no one is buying it and its just sitting there and getting cold. Great place if you have time to waste.

Hate to leave poor reviews unless they are warranted. I went here with my girlfriend for lunch. We waited at the register for 8 minutes before we were greeted at all. Once a team member came up to take our order, they were unpleasant and rushed through the process. It was clear that the store was understaffed, but the customer service didn't need to suffer as well. Why drill holes in your already sinking ship? The drink machine was not regularly maintained / cleaned (I worked in QSRs for years, I tend to check these things). After my partner and I finished our meals, we returned to the counter to purchase warm cookies to go. A. Same team member, did not give us the warm cookie (may sound petty but it was the whole reason we waited until after), and B. dropped one of the cookies on the counter, so gave another one but put it in the same bag? I don't know. I just think good customer service goes a long way, and I'd be much more willing to excuse a long wait / be patient and understanding if I were treated with more respect by staff.
