Sweet Veggie

This location of Sweet Veggie has converted their seating to a small market and has switched to takeout. The bento boxes are a great deal! $7.99 for rice or noodles with 4 items. The food rotates everyday and is always interesting. People seem to love the market too. It can be a bit cramped when busy because it is small, but don't let that put you off. Make clear you want take out, order and enjoy! (There are two tables outside, two chairs each)

Best vegetarian food buffet in town. It wont disappoint you. Price and quality of food selections was excellent. They have different kind of food serve daily. Either lunch or dinner or even breakfast on the weekends. Come early to avoid crowd. Or you can make it to go, they will provide you a Togo box. Highly recommend

This is an awesome place that sells Taiwanese Vegetarian food! I used to come her before the COVID 19 pandemic and I can say it looks a lot different. You used to be able to come in, get your own different food they have as well as shaved ice and get drinks like winter melon tea, but now it is made for Togo only. You can’t still order food, but it would be more of a set meal, like a bento box, and they have transformed the whole “dining” area into a small Taiwanese market! You can go in here now, pick up some rice, snacks, or some vegetables, while also getting a meal before you check out, and its great! Not only do they sell different things, but they also try to stay close to the type of restaurant they have, so they would have things like vegan jerky, etc. My last trip, I was able to buy different groceries and then was able to get 2 meals for under $9 each, that included a bento box, winter melon tea, pudding (like the ones they have in Taiwan!!) And another side of imitation orange beef. Now that everyone is slowly starting to get their vaccines, I hope to be able to visit a bit more, but there is always a ease of mind when you visit somewhere that is COVID compliant, and just overall have a safe feeling of ordering food or groceries ! Wished I would have taken some pictures of the food, but ill make sure to do so next time!

The food was a little cold while we were there, even though the restaurant was packed and the staff kept bringing new food out. This only meant that the food was mostly premade. There were a lot of choices. The food was mostly very good and well flavored. They had mock meat items which the texture didn’t agree with my taste. Then again I’m a carnivore in a vegetarian restaurant so I really should expect much. You have to bus your own table, which I didn’t mind and I saved on tips. Overall it was pretty good despite some shortcomings.

Went on a busy weekend afternoon for lunch, so it was super busy. There was a 15 minute wait after writing our name down on the wait list. Once we heard our name, we paid a very affordable price and began loading up our plates before heading to the table one of the wait staff pointed is to. The food tasted great and was very high quality. They offer different items depending on the meal period and all authentic Taiwanese! Had a great experience with tasty food and very friendly wait staff during a super busy time. Plenty of parking in the structure so don't have to worry about that. Definitely going to come back!
