No frills mom n pop spot with delicious, fresh, soft, melts in your mouth, traditional donuts. We’ve come here 3 days in a row now because we woke up basically craving their donuts lol. Service is always fast and friendly too. Today there was a line of maybe 10+ consistently but the wait was only a few minutes. I honestly don’t understand some people’s bad reviews or what they’re expecting. It’s an independent shop so if you come later in the morning or closer to closing they aren’t going to have every donut you want or a crazy wide selection to inevitably toss out and waste. Especially during a pandemic, you’d think people would be more understanding that these small businesses are struggling to balance and deal with the fluctuating demand and trying to keep their doors open and that hours during these times could vary or change. Lastly $1-2 per donut in California isn’t expensive especially for being located in Walnut Creek lol.

Our family has been coming here for years on a regular basis. They always have consistent quality and flavor that won't let you down. A nice family establishment that is always warm and humble. Don't think twice about where to go, just come here and enjoy.

Best fresh donuts around! Favorite place to get the best apple fritters and donut holes.

Good shop. Good quality. Has friendly staff, and it’s usual regulars you’d expect in any neighborhood donut shop. *I judge every shop on a couple of its donuts but what makes it or breaks it for me is their maple. Some shops it’s too processed or too sweet, if it’s creamy or more gritty, if it melts or flakes. (I’ll make a drive to my favorite place for a good maple donut and coffee if have too 😅) This shop has a very good maple bar and maple donuts along other donut classics or staples I should add. Will be definitely coming back here more often

The best glazed donuts I have ever had, bar none! Perfect balance of sweetness, lightness, large size - every aspect in wonderful harmony! Great custard-filled too!

Not always the nicest staff, but at worst plain affect, however the owners love donuts and local sports and 1,000% friendly to everyone, and the best part is the donuts, no.1 glazed in the county! , and you can tell because so much is gone by 10am, dam, might have to go over there now, getting hungry

Literally the best donuts in town. The shop is clean and well run, and the proprietor is one of the most gracious and friendly people you'll meet. I've always had a great experience here, but in one particular occasion I forgot to grab a receipt for a work order and he immediately took time off this busy morning, got my email address, and forwarded me the receipt. Did I mention BEST donuts in town??

Amazing, fresh donuts! If you arrive before 10 AM, it's not uncommon to get them when they are still warm. They have the best texture and are always delicious. Better than the chain donuts and I prefer supporting a mom and pop shop.

They are very friendly everytime I go in there!!! Their donuts are fresh fresh fresh!! They run out fast so get there early. I read the other review and I think it's unfair to give an unfavorable rating because her children were acting up which she admitted they were and someone spoke up about it. I am in no way related to or affiliated with this company or anyone who works there. I believe parents should take responsibility for their children and not get offended when others speak up about it. Apologize for your children and be done! Everyone else - go get an All Star donut!

Totally UNFRIENDLY to kids and families. I wanted to let y'all know about a very unfriendly experience I just had (I'm trying to be nice) at All Star Donuts on Treat and Bancroft... Before today, we were regular customers (about once a week) for 2 years. I will never go back!

The son of of the owner took it upon himself to let my mother-in-law (who was in visiting from out-of-state) know that he was going to ban my son (age 3.5) from his shoppe due to a day we were there (months ago) with one of his friends from school when they were a little more energetic than usual. I agree, they were wild that day, but part of it was related to getting a treat (read: donut) together after school. There was no property destruction or bodily injury and we were out of there in about 30 minutes. I have been back there a few times with my boys (age 1 and 3.5) since that crazy day and the older one was actually doing much better at being calmer when there. Nothing was ever brought to my attention. My husband was there a week ago , and conveniently, no one mentioned anything to him either. Really?

Poor Grandma was shocked and humiliated on Saturday when the "son" (who refused to give me his name today when I went in to acknowledge their conversation) said this to her while they were there for a treat for the older one after swim lessons this past Saturday. I went in today and asked the guy to write his name on a card and he refused, saying "I don't have to tell you". I informed him we would, in fact, never patronize his establishment again and he said "good". I asked him if he had kids and he said no.

I hope that if he ever does have kids, someone will extend to him a little more patience and understanding when it comes to parenting young children when his kids get crazy out in public one day. I'm upset that he was such an ass to me when I went in, but more sad for my son as this was a HUGE treat for him.
