Best food in Wallingford, be it breakfast, lunch or dinner, great staff, speedy service and insane value for money. Seperate dining and bar areas with a large rear beer garden suits all people's needs

Tuesday lunchtime. The Dolphin, recommended by locals, appeared to be the only pub in the town centre doing lunch. Cheery welcome. General feeling was a bit rundown and grubby. But lunch (full English and ploughman's) was very substantial and good value. Beer seemed well kept. BUT it is absurd that the rules insisted that each visit to the bar had to be paid for - no tab nor "trust" system. Why on earth foes the management want to pay three or four card service charges ! Crazy.

Friendly service amid the Bunkfest mayhem. A parade of Morris dancers at the door, good beer on tap, and happy clients. A joy in the sun.

Booked it for Sunday morning of bunkfest...just as well it as it was really busy but buzzy too. Excellent system in place food one way tea and toast another

Hands down the best breakfast I've had for years. High quality ingredients, (the sausages were particularly good), cooked to perfection and so reasonably priced.
Friendly, curteous and effective staff completed the experience. Made my day.
