Best burger in the World! It melted in your mouth. The bun was so fresh and huge. The soup was creamy. The owner was so wonderful and sweat as pie. Best mannered and customer service. I travel all the way from Maine just to eat here every year. I would highly recommend eating here.

You know it would be easy to drive right on by but that would be a mistake. Delicious freshly made seafood. Great portions. Crispy fries. I like things a little spicier, but overall there are some really good menu choices. Friendly staff too!

This place is great for seafood. I got the fried wholebelly clams which were very good and fresh. The coleslaw and mozzarella sticks were very good. The atmosphere was really comfortable and casual and they had amazing hospitality and a nice staff, 5 stars!

Visited on a weekday for lunch. It was pretty quiet. The woman who greeted me and took my order was the perfect level of friendly and knowledgeable. Got clam strips with fries to go. Both were excellent quality. I'll be back!

Captain Seas is a Wallingford dining tradition. I was so excited that my Mom chose here for her 90th birthday. Tables were spotless and I noticed that the staff knew almost every one by name. Mom ordered a hot lobster roll stuffed with lobster meat, home-made fries and homemade coleslaw. She loved it. I had a whole belly clam dinner again with fresh homemade onion rings and the same Cole slaw. It was perfectly cooked in fresh oil which is a true sign of perfection. Besides Seafood they offer burgers, hot dogs and so much more. A little pricey but well worth it.

This restaurant is utterly dark, dingy, and dirty. The restaurant is also extremely dated and needs a lot of modernization. My wife's Burger was dry and cold. Her fries where grease saturated and ice cold. My fried calamari was OK at best but, the worst part of the entire experience was the fact that we got food poisoning after eating. We were sick all night and into the next day. If I could give 0 stars to this place I would!!!

Don't get the lobster bisque, I got 2 bowls. 1 was burnt on the lid and cold in the middle the 2nd ice cold.
They microwave the bisque. And it is also made with imation crab meat. NO Lobster at all. Gross...
