Mr. Greek

Update: they replied and expressed how unhappy with the review. That I didn't give a true review. I gave a review on a restaurant that was not a restaurant. I addressed it with the owners at that time, at the location that I drove out of my way to go to, and was basically blown off. As I previously stated they knew they were still listed as a restaurant in Google, they didn't seem to care that people use it to find eating locations that don't have food. I did not come here for a grocery store. I didn't come here to play games on machines. I didn't come here for coffee. I came here for Greek Food as it was listed as a Greek restaurant at the time and they knew. Original review: This location is no longer serving food. They are now grocery and other. They told me they are aware that they are still listed on Google Maps as a restaurant.

We had been looking forward to a Greek meal and were highly disappointed to find they no longer serve meals. The place reeked of cigarette smoke in the middle of the day. Apparently Mr. Greek doesn’t appreciate an honest review. If you review my posts, I have given credit as due. I could have said more about his establishment but did not.

Man I had a good time I enjoy the games I'd rather be here at the game room than with my wife and family I abandoned her on a daily basis just so I can come here to this great place because this is more like family than my own life I'd rather be happy here than for my wife to be happy at all I like being a liar and I like being a cheat I like being a dog and I like hurting people

To counter what somebody with a Greek name and doesn’t know food in Greece said about no lamb gyro in Greece: that individual is extremely wrong and is not familiar with Greece. I will say this: Greeks (as well as majority of eastern Mediterranean countries) use lamb quite often. Having been to Greece many times, I have eaten lamb gyros more times than I can count while there. This place is a great place to eat, and as close to authentic Med as you can get in Waco.

we had a lovely late lunch. the food was fresh & delicious. they take some pride in their food. the service was excellent & very friendly. they have a good assortment of difficult to find (in Waco) grocery items. they are in the process of remodeling the interior & that affects the atmosphere, otherwise I would give it 5 stars for an excellent place to grab good greek food.
