On my visit to Waco, on of my interest points was to visit the Magnolia Market at Los Silos. I usually avoid long lines but luckily when I arrived there were no line in Silos Baking.
As everything that Joanna Gaines touch this place is beautiful, looks like a little cottage in front to the rusty giant Silos. Inside decoration was cozy with wood floors, fresh tiles and contrasting colors (black and white) and silver touches.
It is better check the menu before, because the place really have customers and you don’t have so much time to decide when you are in front of the cashier. I decided to try a cupcake. I would like to have a coffee with it, but I didn’t see beverages in the menu.
After ordering, the cashier told me to wait until I listen my name and in no time I receive a cute box with my cupcake inside.
There are no tables inside the cottage, but outside there are plenty of places to sit, relax and enjoy. I got the Lemon Lavender cupcake. It was good, soft inside and the icing was so creamy with a citrus taste. If you are craving for sweets it is a good treat.
I observed that usually people got their cupcakes for to go at the end of their visit. But I am glad I got mine just when I arrived, because when I finished my sight and see through the stores, the line outside the bakery was long.

We loved our visit to the Silos! It was our first time visiting Waco and this place was the one we really enjoyed. Our kids had a great time playing and running around. We visited on Wednesday the place was almost empty 😄 we enjoyed it but then on Thursday it was packed, I can be sure that weekends are crazy. People with strollers take a lot of space inside the garden shop and the bakery which are quite small. Items are pricey but I guess that’s what you can expect (and get to visit this kind of place for free) also, take your time because You’ll need to make a line to enter the Bakery. Food trucks were so good. There is a restaurant/brewery/hotel just beside the silos in where we stayed and had a great experience as well.

I watch Jo’s cooking show and own both cookbooks! The bakery is definitely Jo’s signature style French country. The silos cookie was delicious! The biscuit was good but I hate to say was quite salty. The cupcakes looked beautiful. The staffs X-Large chick fil a cups at the register and the I don’t want to be here attitude slightly ruined the ambiance as they clearly make a huge effort to have a high quality of customer experience.
I went on a weekday morning so there were no long lines and plenty of space to take your time and enjoy the experience. I was told it can get pretty hectic with long lines on weekends.

Beautifully done! Place is very manicured. The stores are not my cup of tea and definitely thought the cupcakes were too sweet but I can definitely see why people like this place. Once I stepped into the place Waco disappeared and I felt transported to one of those Christmas Hallmark movies! Didn't get a chance to try the tea nor the coffee due to the lines being entirely too long but all in all it was a nice time spent looking around.

We were fans of the show and were finally able to visit "the silos". The place is BEAUTIFUL and spacious. Every detail is perfect without one being overlooked. A very family friendly place as there are outdoor games for anyone to play. Cornhole, soccer, baseball, footballs... just a great outdoor space. The retail market and food are pretty pricey, but you are looking at quality items. There is no cost to enter, but finding free parking is next to impossible so be ready to pay for parking at a nearby lot. Most parking lots have payments done online so no need to worry about having cash on hand to park. Lastly, the lines to get into the retail shops and bakery can be very long (COVID crowd control) so be ready to wait at least 30min in line. Comfortable shoes are a MUST when you visit. It was pretty busy when we went on a Monday at mid-afternoon, so I can only imagine how crazy it would be during a weekend. This is a great place to stop and see if you are ever passing through Waco, TX.

Wonderful cupcakes! Took about 30 minutes in line so once we got inside they were out of several flavors, but still plenty to choose from! All very good. I love the buttercream icing. The cupcakes were a bit dry, but did go towards the end of the day. Would return!

This is THE place you want to visit and plan to spend hours. It helps to watch their YouTube channel to see just how much detail goes into this place each time the seasons change. I honestly did not know of Chip and Jo until a friend told me. The atmosphere is so peaceful. We wanted to sing inside the church. The bakery, the food trucks, the garden, the stores - coffee shop and picnic area makes this a worthwhile stop if you are traveling I35!

It is an adorable little bakery. However, the cupcakes were just overwhelmingly sweet. We bought four to try different flavors. They looked delicious but were more sugary than flavorful. My husband, who is a sugarholic, even said they were too sweet.
