Fugazzis

I applaud the folks at Fugazzis. The menu is varied and the food is tasty. I feel I could come back here many times, in fact my review is based on to dinners in a row. Spicy shrimp Pasta arrabbiata was filling and tasty. The second night I had the very good New Spinach Salad with shrimp and the fish tacos. The tacos come in beef, chicken and Fish, but you must order three of the same. I enjoyed the meals and would come back again.

I wish I could give half stars because it would be 3.5. The atmosphere was good and the employees were very nice and helpful. I ended up ordering a chicken wrap and salad. The salad was your basic salad with creamy vinaigrette. It was decent. The chicken wrap had a pretty good flavor but the chicken was nasty. It was rubbery and tough. It was probably microwaved. This was a deal breaker for me. I get that the meal is very affordable so they may not have it in their time budget to cook fresh but they should. The outside of the wrap had grill marks on it but it was somewhat flimsy and a bit soggy. If it were grilled it should have held up better. I think the whole thing may have been microwaved. Possibly a Sysco product. If it were made fresh this place would do very well and maybe they do but nothing beats fresh. Additionally there were only 4 people in here besides me. One young man was waiting for a pie. Apparently they couldn't get the order right and had to make him a new one. There's only 4 people in here. It's not that hard folks. I would hate to see what happens in a rush. The employees seem to have a good time which is great. It's better than not getting along. I think they might have too much of a good time and are lacking on details. Maybe not but it just seems they were more interested in their own world and not the clients. There was one young lady working hard and not messing around. She seems pretty responsible. The other female and a male seem to play a bit.

Ordered a jalepeno popper beef salad and tequila lime fettuccine. I get the salad without the popper and asked if it came with it and the girl said I ordered it without it but she would fix it. The cook then said "I thought you said she didn't want the popper?" and she said (in Spanish) that she said she didn't but now she does. So I answered in Spanish that she must have heard me wrong because I ordered it just like it comes on the menu. She said it was ok and she was sorry and then rolled her eyes. Beef tastes like fish and pasta sauce was extra watery.

We ordered a Chicken Family Meal. Very yummy! F.Y.I., the chicken is covered with a green cilantro sauce type gravy. Too salty for my liking. But my husband loved it. Customer service was wonderful. We had asked for the cilantro sauce ON THE SIDE (separate container.) But when we arrived to pick it up, the cashier informed us that mistakenly the chicken was prepared with the sauce. To compensate their error, they quickly cooked us a serving of plain chicken. In addition, they added free of charge some bread and a coupon for a free meal. Thank you Fugazzis. Your service is great and the taste of your food is delicioso!
