The Monkey Tree Pub

Had a great time here after stopping in randomly on a night music bingo was on. Didn't know it was a bingo night but stayed and played, it was a blast! Bit of a wait on our food before it started but thats to be expected before the game kicks-off. Reasonable prices, good food and drink specials. Had fun! Will be back.

Pretty good food. Stopped in here as was waiting for my appointment at the bc driver's place. Great atmosphere and a really friendly staff. Definitely would recommend for lunch. Phillips on tap is nice and crisp cold and paired with the monkey tree club wrap works best. The house salad with vinaigrette worked perfect.

I forgot about how awesome the Monkey Tree was until I had the chance to become reacquainted with this amazing pub/restaurant. They launched a new menu with a few delectable seafood selections. I happened to be there for both trial rollouts; the Jewels of the Sea (aka oysters) and the Flash Fried Calamari Frites. Attention: Seafood lovers, these are home run dishes! I have gone back specifically for the Jewels of the Sea. They were so good the first time I tried them (and shared them), I had to have them again so I could have my own order. They're very rich, the 4 you get are surprisingly filling! I can't wait to have the Calamari Frites again. And they have Phillips on tap. Perfect pairing.
