Discovery Coffee

Just a wonderful cafe, I stopped by and was greeted by Jorge, a wonderful soul who has quite the story of how he arrived in Victoria. The atmosphere is unmatched to a lot of cafes I have checked out. I had conversations with Jorge for quite a while as he cleaned, gave attention to the other customers as well as kept me company. Definitely will be back. Never have I had such an experience at a place before. Regarding the coffee, it really is wonderful coffee, made by passionate people who care. The fritters are absolutely wonderful. Can't wait till my next visit. Hope to see Jorge again, or perhaps I'll have the chance to meet another one of his colleagues.

This is a cozy coffee shop! It’s an excellent place to grab some coffee or tea with some of their unique doughnuts 🍩 We ordered a flat white and a London Fog and they were both delicious. We were so delighted. We got the coffee-glazed and the wheat-free Chocolate Cruller. OMG! They were both so good and satisfied our sweet tooth! Love the vibes! 😎 High-five to the barista for his elevated latte art. The staff provided tip-top service! Highly recommend 👌

Great staff, great location (there are multiple locations strategically placed around the core - this is my regular spot). From drip to Americano to Matcha Latte and everything in between, the baristas will make you a wicked cup of coffee. The pastries available are also fantastic. Single-service line so they do get very busy during peak times, but it's a Victoria coffee shop - it's to be expected. The take-home beans have varying levels of freshness as I am unsure where/when they roast them, but usually are quite fresh (within 2 weeks).
