Yalla

Pretty decent falafel wrap. There aren't too many places in Victoria that I've encountered that do them, so it was fortuitous stumbling upon Yalla. I will say that I thought the price was a bit high. I ordered a large which wasn't sizeable by any means and it was $15.50 before tax and tip. I remember these being $8 or so from the food trucks in Vancouver. The gentleman at the counter was friendly and polite which is always a bonus. Going to give this place another try with my fiancee in the future as the other dishes folks in the restaurant were munching on did look quite tasty.

An awesome place to come and eat. I shared the brussel sprout hummus with my partner, and he got a shawarma plate. That was hands down the best hummus i've ever had- and not to mention the pickled veggies were absolutely amazing! I will definitely be coming back for more of that perfect shawarma and delicious hummus! The atmosphere was also really peaceful, and the place was super clean! A definite recommend.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while and it was very worth it! Wish I hadn’t waited so long! I had the chicken Shawarma wrap and a halloumi salad. Both we delicious and full of delicious flavours. The portions were very generous as I could only eat half of each. The people working there were very friendly and super happy and smiley! I will be back again soon and highly recommend this place!

Edit.: tried the plate on my second visit. Very tasty, but I think I preferred the wrap. Still delicious, though. First trip: Why haven't I been here before now?! I do love Persian food, so my review is biased. But the pita chicken schwarma was very flavorful and a nice kick to it (curry and other heat). Very filling, no need for a side. I liked the Crispy bits of the chicken. Quick turnaround as well
