Won a night stay at the hotel at a benefit. Ladies on phone were kind and they accommodated my EMS pets, hotel was quiet and restaurant staff were kind. But room not the greatest. Didn’t look vacuumed, bathroom sink handles haven’t been cleaned in ages, stains all over carpet, the jacuzzi had flakes of something floating throughout water whenever turned on so couldn’t use it. Staff is great but rooms not so much.

The hotel has so far not disappointed me at all. The casino however has made me not want to return after tonight. A security guard continued yelling at me after we had words about some NY law (supposedly) that I couldn't bring food through the gaming floor up to my room. I don't believe that and said that Turning Stone doesn't have this rule. I was walking outside to go across the parking lot, in pouring rain mind you, as he continued yelling at me out the doors. Another woman witnessing it stated he did the same to her earlier. My complaint to the security supervisor yielded nothing but excuses blaming NY as to him not having the staff to assist me with bringing my food through the gaming area (my suggestion), he said none of them can leave their post. It was also NY's fault they have the rule in place, and unfortunately there is nothing they could do. These staff members obviously don't have guest service skills at all, and it's no wonder why the place is doing poorly. They couldn't even pretend to care about my inconvenience. My clothes were soaked since I didn't have my jacket and the wind blew my bag so harshly that the sauce spilled all over the contents inside. Still no apology at all. He said he would speak to the employee, but I doubt that will happen given his own lack of compassion or empathy with my situation. I am extremely disgusted at how the security supervisor responded to this. I pointed out that besides the hotel room, I have dropped money on food and in the machines, I was a guest and his employee should never speak to a guest like that. I doubt either of them even cares if the place shuts down, as I have no doubt they will when treating guests like this, they most likely figure they'll get unemployment anyway. I recommend you spend your money at Turning Stone. They know how to treat guests. ** Update ** In reply to Brianna, I am not seeing any direct messaging options right now.
