West Oak

Loved it here! Great food great service! We arrived a little early but our table wasn’t ready. They let us in and sat at the bar while our table was getting ready. The drinks were awesome with great selections. Once we got to our table the food was excellent. The tomahawk steak was one of the best. And their appetizers were really good as well. The server he was awesome and very friendly. Overall a great experience. Will definitely be going back again soon.

A very nice restaurant. We haven’t been to the Yaletown since the pandemic. We walked by this West Oak restaurant after attending the Home and Garden Show and decided to try it. My lamb shank was great and my wife’s salmon was perfectly done. Server Dave was very friendly and attentive. Very good experience here and we will definitely be back.

Nice atmosphere. Service was very good .Our meals were OK. I had the prawn and sable fish salad which was very good. My entree was the steelhead salmon with mushroom barley risotto. The salmon was a bit overdone and dry and the mushroom barley risotto seemed to not have any seasoning so it lacked flavor in my opinion. My husband had the halibut with the housemaid gnocchi. He enjoyed the gnocchi, but felt the halibut needed seasoning. We shared the brussel sprouts and bacon side dish. It was good but dry. The dessert cookies were fabulous.

Great service! Food was good! Went for dine out and was happily surprised by the experience. Love how they have a separate private room to host a party with a dj and just lounge around. The food came in fast and was good, really enjoyed the salad, the ribs, the cod, the lamb, the cookies and cream as well! Would go back again :) ohh they also have 40% off all wine bottles on Wednesdays!!!

I have been here many times and got to say it never disappoints me! Their food, ambiance, drinks, staff are all great! It is 100% one of my go to places for a good night out with good food and drinks. In the evening it has a very upbeat social vibe, love it. Been here pre pandemic and post… still just as good! My fav of all time and its a must try is their prawn appetizer. If your vegetarian then their avocado/hummus is great too! For dinner my fav is lamb. Its cooked so well and so so tender! Also their sablefish is so good! You just cant go wrong here!
