7-eleven

Today, 7/4/21 @ 3PM. The store had only medium cups, ALL the Slupee flavors were out, no iced coffee and store was dirty. There were ants crawling on the counters and old food in the sink. A completely horrible experience in what is my favorite store in Vancouver. Employees are cool, nice and funny (except the lady today, who was bossy and rude.) Not sure what the issue was today but the store was no even close to usual. I'll chalk today up to a one off day.

I visited this store on Sunday July 25 @ approx 7:10pm. I have only visited this particular 7-11 on a few occasions and after today’s visit it will be way less. When I entered the store the employees Corey and Emilia were speaking ill about an African American customer that had just left the store. I asked for the $10 special that was posted that included 16wings and a large pizza. Emilia stated we do not have that and I pointed to the sign clearly displayed on the hot case. She then took an exasperated breath and walked to the front door and read the sign. She then goes to the back and says, pick a pizza (there was only pepperoni) and then says what kind of wings do you want. I asked what kind are there where she says we only have Buffalo (not true because other kinds were in the hot case) and I asked why did you ask me what kind of there was only one. She says I have had a long day and I am tired. She then says if you do not have a 7-11 card you will not get it. Mind you Emilia was yelling across the store so when I went to check out I was surprised when Corey asked if I was paying cash or EBT. Really?? I did not hear you ask any other customer that question. Anyway I enter in my # and he only rang up the pizza. I told him that I was getting the deal and he said it’s probably expired and then Emilia shouted if you can’t ring it up then it is no good.I again explained to him that it was posted and that is the deal I would like. He then proceeded to ask Emilia how to ring up the wings. The price came to $28. I told him that is not the deal and he said that’s the cost do you want it or not. Needless to say I left the store and went to Walmart down the street. I looked up the stores website and the deal was clearly posted on there so I went back to show them and ask for the managers #. I walked in and Emilia was kissing a young man goodbye so I approached her and asked for the #’s. She said ok and walked away. She then started to help ring out customers and totally ignored me. I then approached Corey to show him the deal on the website and he said well it did not ring up so there is nothing I could do. I asked for the mangers # from him because obviously Emila( I had to ask for her name, no visible name tag) was not going to provide them to me. The customer behind me started saying long line because Emilia was clearly taking her time talking about nothing to the customers she was helping. When the customers walked out she started crying saying she was only doing the best that she could…. Then came back and said I did not have to be mean to her.. mind = blown. 7-11 @ 3200 4th Plain, please address the behaviors of your employees. An apology would be nice. I will update this post after I speak to the managers

Horrible customer service especially the young girl with blonde hair. She's always on her phone and moves slow. Bought hot food and had to wait while she yelled out who else needs hot food and had to wait on 3 other customers who were in line and hadn't made it to the counter. Always dirty with stuff all over counters. Always out of stock of vault items. I come in for coffee every morning around 7am and there is always no coffe 9/10 times I go in there. Anytime I let employees know their out, i still have to wait till their done ringing up multiple customers and there always is other employee. Poor management. It really sucks that the store has gone down hill so much. I will be taking my business elsewhere even though this is the closest convenience store near me.

there's a man who works here w the longest head of greasy hair who has always had such a bad attitude when i come in. every single time... last time i went he glared at me the entire time i was shopping in the store, and then basically threw my change back at me, some of it falling on the floor. he didn't apologize or anything. looks like i'm going to have to drive further awat to a different convenience store to avoid this employees hard stare every time i want some snacks
