Conveniently tucked into the Vail Transportation Center, this hidden gem has fast service, excellent food, and very reasonable prices! Refreshingly filled with the younger set with nary a designer jacket in sight. Try the combo plates...amazing deal for Vail! There is even a small bar! Highly recommended!

Quick, inexpensive, and fairly good. Service was gruff but prompt. Photo is of El Gordo Grande burrito (minus lettuce) packed for take out. We also got Combo #4 and liked both. The guac was good. Takeout comes in pressed fiber containers and a plastic bag to carry. The containers get soggy quickly, so plan accordingly.

Excellent Mexican dishes freshly prepared at very reasonable prices at this tucked away gem in Vail Village. A large but not overwhelming food menu accompanied by free salsa and well stocked adult beverage options. Order at the counter then enjoy plenty of indoor seating available on a first come first serve basis. So good I went back the next day!

Yes yes yes! This is my go-to any time I'm I'm vail. It's priced so that actual normal people can afford it, it's easy to make their #2 burrito vegan, and they have a beyond burger! Your burrito will come with chips, so make sure you take advantage of their AWESOME salsa bar. Their spicy salsa is sssssssuuuupppppeeerrr spicy, like way too spicy - but their red medium salsa is probably one of the best I have ever had. Definitely try it out, it's soo flavorful. Next time I hike in East Vail, I'll definitely be stopping by again for a post hike burrito.

I am sad to say after many, MANY years of enjoying La Cantina, my family and I will no longer be making this restaurant a part of our Vail tradition. After two years of very subpar service (staff that clearly would rather be somewhere else) and food quality that has declined, we will be looking for another Mexican restaurant to take it's place.
