Annapurna

We came by tonight (Sat) after my daughter’s dance performance at the Vilar. It was 9:03 and closed , but the doors were open so I went inside. We really wanted to eat a full dinner. I walked in to ask for a boa boa tea for my daughter (she saw the sign). She also was hunger as she had not eaten all day being busy with rehearsals. The staff was young and friendly. They not only did they make her a tea to go, but offered to make her some veggie rolls for my vegetarian girl. They were so nice and my daughter ate the rolls so fast in the car, but enjoyed the tea so much. Many places would just say we are closed. But much like I was waiting tables at a young age they sprung into action and gave service when they could have turned me down. We will be in Avon tomorrow when open and will eat a full diner.

$140 for four entrees, all of them very small in portion. Came with two sides of rice for 4 people. Food wasn’t bad but a complete joke for what we got. Two of the “main entrees” were a complete joke as pictured. Complete waste of money. Local for over 15 years and my other experience seated was wasn’t good either, poor service. Thought we would try again, now it’s a NEVER again.

Must try! We visited Vail during winter break and this place was a hit with the whole family! Our party was 7 people and we were taken care of with the BEST service. We all ordered different entrees and appetizers from their very extensive menu and everything was delicious. So many classic favorites and dishes that I’ve never tried before. The flavors in every dish were amazing. I decided to venture out and try Nepalese food for the first time…SO GOOD. My kids who can be very picky loved their dishes and asked for more. Located inside of Evergreen lodge, It’s not as easy to find as other restaurants in Vail, but honestly it’s a hidden gem. After trying many other restaurants in Vail Village that were recommended by locals, this one was definitely our favorite.

10/10 on everything! My Dad and I got in late to Vail and were going to arrive at the restaurant right as the kitchen was closing. We called them and they let us put in our order while we walked there and stayed open a little later for us which was amazing! The staff were incredibly kind and attentive and the food was SO good (we love, love, love Indian food). All the dishes and apps we tried were insanely good - highly recommend going!!
