Ruby Tuesday

I had an early dinner today at the Des Moines Ruby Tuesday's. It was the best overall dining out experience I have had in a long time. The salad bar was deliciously fresh and the soup was hot and tasty. Best of all was the service I received from Michael. He was very friendly and laid-back, yet really on top of my needs. What a nice guy. Thank you for this great meal experience.

Josh (who works in the bar area) was supper friendly and very attentive. He has been the most friendly waiter we have had in a long time. Frist time eating here and everything was amazing!! Food was very good a little more on the smaller size for price but still enough to fill you up! We are happy customers!

First off, let me say that our server did a very good job. As for the food...much to be desired. There were 3 of us. 1. Bacon cheeseburger with fries. The burger was overdone and the fries ice cold and soggy! 2. Chicken tenders and fries. The chicken tenders were anything but tender! They were way overdone and hard as a rock and the fries were ice cold and soggy. 3. Chicken sandwich and fries. Again the chicken was so overdone it had to be cut into little pieces with a knife because it was to hard to bite into it. And again, the fries were ice cold and soggy. We were lucky enough to check out our fries as soon as our server brought our meal so our server ordered us all fresh fries. After 25 minutes we each got an order of fresh hot fries. So we ate our fries and skipped our "meat" items. When our server went to get us our check we asked him to send over the manager to us. We told him about our food. His comment was that he didn't know what was going on with the kitchen staff. He then comp'd the majority of our meals. (Which was nice since it ended up being 2 hours just to be able to eat french fries and ice water.) We won't be going back!
