Panera Bread

3 out of 4 of my online orders have had issues. 1 - The Chipotle Chicken Avocado Melt I purchased had no chicken.., 2 - A fruit cup I ordered was missing, 3 - the delivery never showed up (It showed the delivery driver at the store for over an hour before I called). I was able to receive a refund for all of these and the customer service reps were courteous, but a 25% success rate is really unacceptable. Even excluding the missing delivery since they use door dash - that still means half of my order have had problems.

Came in close to 4pm and it was completely empty except a was a lady waiting patiently at the counter with a cookie. We stood there for 10 minutes when the lady yelled back HELLOO, someone answered- be there in a minute. Another 5 minutes dragged by so I walked to the back and saw at least 5 different employees kinda fiddling around. I returned to the counter where the lady was and now and older gentleman came in, and waited a few minutes before finally ordering at the kiosk. I followed behind him hoping it would make things go faster. At this time the poor woman who was waiting to pay for a single cookie had been there for 20 minutes or more. Finally a girl with a scarf on her head came up and apologized and let her pay for her cookie then rushed back to the back. We got our food, but we wanted a few pastries that weren’t available on the kiosk so we knew we’d be waiting another 20 minutes. They were never terribly busy and we waited entirely too long for no good reason

I love Panera but the last two times in Union have been disappointing. Today the strawberry salad was great….but no bread? The chicken rice soup was 90% broth? A month ago my husband got the pizza he loves. Must have ingredients which set out too long? He tossed up…second time in 35 years. He was fine next day. Someone needs to work to improve this location.

$65 for a lunch that should’ve been way less. They made us measly little sandwiches that seemed to be lacking so much, and tiny salads. The service was bad too, we ordered through drive through, had to wait, guy came and gave us a bag in a rush and good thing we stopped to check our food because we were missing two soups. I go back inside for them to give me the missing food and they did, and they threw in a couple free cookies for the inconvenience. Either way, not going back. So disappointed

Food is on par with others in the chain. Please note, no one takes your order at this facility. If you walk in, do not expect to be greeted or have a cashier take your order. There should be a sign stating this, however there is not. The only way to order food is through the self serve kiosk, which also means no cash payments. All employees are in the back kitchen area and do not come out. I saw 3 other customers walk out of the facility while we were dining because they were not aware of this. Seems like they are losing business....
