Our dinner at Upre was nothing short of a culinary delight. The food was absolutely amazing, offering a fusion of flavors that tantalized the taste buds. But what truly elevated the experience was the stunning view of Udaipur's evenings - an absolute feast for the eyes. The attention to detail from the staff was commendable. Upre... one the top dining places in Udaipur. First of all, if you're going here in peak season. Make sure you get your reservations 10days before. The place is jam-packed. Moving on the the location, it is located right above the Lake Pichola Hotel, with a view to crave for. They have normal seating and then seating on the bedding (Cabana's). The view is mesmerizing. Food quality is also decent. Service is great with everyone carrying a smile around. Must visit place in Udaipur

Perched in a strategic location, the panoramic vistas of the city and surrounding landscapes are simply mesmerizing. The visual appeal alone makes Upre a standout destination. Ambiance and Décor: The ambiance and décor contribute to a tranquil and elegant atmosphere. The tasteful design and attention to detail in the interiors create a sophisticated setting that complements the stunning outdoor views. Room for Improvement - Food: While the views are nothing short of breathtaking, we found the culinary experience to be somewhat average. The menu had potential, but the execution fell short of our expectations. The flavors were decent but lacked the innovation and finesse that one might anticipate in a setting of this caliber. Service Considerations: Service at Upre was polite but could benefit from improvement. The staff appeared to be understaffed, leading to delays in service. While the team was accommodating, a more efficient service approach would undoubtedly enhance the overall dining experience. Recommendations for Enhancement: Upre has the potential to become an unparalleled dining destination in Udaipur. Focusing on elevating the culinary offerings with more creative and well-executed dishes, along with refining the service efficiency, would undoubtedly enhance the overall experience for patrons. I booked Upre for my Mom and Dad’s 33rd wedding anniversary. Mr. Dilip Singh was kind enough in making all the arrangements including cake, candle light dinner and flower decor. My parents loved the lake/city palace view from Upre and had a memorable experience. Thank you to all the Upre staff. Cheers!

Since we stayed in Hotel Lake Pichola for 2 nights, our first evening was with Upre & second @ Ambrai. Hence I’m in a better state to answer honest feedback. 1. Upre provides a better feel & food. The view from the top is just mesmerising and seating is also done so well that all guests can equally enjoy this. 2. Food is just so amazing. We ordered veg & non veg both, both were fantabulous 3. Overall service or rather hospitality is an issue in Udaipur. Somehow I feel the staff feels it’s not too important to give guests an ever lasting experience by just smiling and ensuring that extra effort. Both place are at par in this case 4. Pricing is not too high but not too less as well. Experience comes with a cost and it was totally worth 5. Since they allow you in batches of 2 hours only, ours was 7-9pm and there was only songs played in the background which were great but no LIVE performance. But by 9 they had started with LIVE sitar and Tabla which looked great. I wish they had it during our time as well. On the contrary, Ambrai had latest Bollywood songs as LIVE which enhanced the whole ambience. Overall I will still prefer Upre over Ambrai.
