Cracker Barrel

The food is Southern, scratch baked, home style meals. The waitress described the dishes with pin point accuracy and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we asked for and then some. The gift shop is my favorite place to browse and I end up spending more time than I planned because they have so many wonderful things. Prices are way better than expected compared to any other gift shop like this. They also stock all of the now, "old fashioned" candy favorites from my childhood. Items that you can't find anywhere else and even bottles of the pop I loved so much back then.

Cracker Barrel is one of our go-to favorites. On June 1, my wife's meal was excellent, as usual. However, my meal was less than perfect - VERY unusual. On going to pay our bill, I was asked how our meal was and in a matter of fact tone, I commented that it wasn't as good as usual. Concern was expressed and I was asked if I would like to talk to the restaurant manager. I said sure and in a straight forward way discussed my meal with the respective manager. She was very gracious and open to my comments, wanting to make things right. That excellent customer service combined with the good food, we have come to expect, will bring us back in the future.

Had their hand breaded cod, steak fries & steamed broccoli. The fish was amazing the coating was crisp and crunchy, the fish itself was wonderful nice and flaky,and the fries were great. The only down side was the broccoli was a little over cooked, it was closer to their closing time so it probably sat awhile in the warmer. The gift store is always so much fun to browse through. Highly recommended

We had the maple bacon grilled chicken and the catfish and both were pretty good. Always love the sides, their potato casserole was really good as well as the fried apples. We got hush puppies instead of biscuits or bread and they gave us an extra box! Super nice staff and nice selection of items in their general store

I was there for my first time and not impressed. First off the waitress was great. My food was not. I ordered the pot roast. What i received was a plate full off fat. There was maybe 3 small bites off meat in the whole pile. I returned it and then replaced it with the home style chicken it was ok but by that time my Sister was finished with her meal and i lost my appetite. When we went to pay they had not even changed it on the bill. They should have either gave us a discount or given my meal free but they charged us full price. I personally will not return.

My husband and I just stopped in for breakfast and we were greeted and served by an Amazing lady named Stacy. Very welcoming, friendly and fun to talk to. She had great and honest food recommendations and the service was the best I've received in a very long time. I am an ex food and beverage server myself and can be very critical when warranted.

Completely LOVED everything as soon as I walked in that door. Hostess was awesome and very welcoming. LIZ our waitress was so pleasant. She went above and beyond. Eggs were cooked more then medium. She noticed it and offered to make it right and was quick about it. Great customer service.. coffee never ran low.

We ate here for the 1st time, for my 60th birthday. I had the cheeseburger and it was the BEST beef I have ever had out! Seasoned lightly , not too salty. Our waitress gave me a piece of the chocolate coke cake. I have never heard of it! Now, I want it every year for my birthday! Clean, great selection, homey atmosphere, staff very friendly. We will be back!
