Delightful little restaurant, well deserved of its ratings. Food was very enjoyable and great value. Good to see an alternative to cod in the fish and chips on the menu. Thoroughly recommended.

What a little gem! Great staff very attentive and friendly. The food was stunning! Hot tasty, very generous portions and very good value for money. Its very cosy inside and intimate with twinkling lights and candle lit tables. Highly recommend.

Chanced on this little gem by accident. Off the beaten track, but well worth a visit. Good ambience, warm, friendly staff. Well cooked food, generous portions at a reasonable price.....I would recommend.

Have had about 20 Sunday dinners here .. never fails to be 10/10. Freshly cooked veg, tender meat and proper Yorkshire puddings! Staff are always friendly too :)

We ate here friday night. Very glad we did.
From the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble. Was a little cold, so a heater was set up and ready for our arrival.
Drinks were ordered and served promptly which in my eyes is always a winner.
My sea food medlee starter was very nice and came out of the kitchen very hot.
Mains were fantastic, my lamb shank, will be the reason we go back, it fell off the bone and was so soft and succulent, with the mint gravy it was amazing. My other halves fish and chips, again fantastic, really hot and well cooked fish with crispy batter and lovely chunky chips. Definitely recommend and 100% will be back.

Went having read a review on google. Fabulous. Welcomed on a cold wet and windy February evening. Only customers, nothing was too much trouble. Food was superb, especially the vegetables which deserve special praise. Cost is very reasonable. Go, you won't be disappointed.
