Always a great start and/or end to a walk. Lovely unique setting and lovely staff. Great coffee and cakes, and the venison casserole was delicious.
A single takeaway coffee costs > £6 due to being told we had to also purchase a reusable cup for £2.50. This is refunded if you return the cup later but we didn't plan to return and are not local. Would have been happy to use a …
The staff seem totally uninterested in serving. Food was served BOILING hot and did not taste fresh at all. The mugs looked barely cleaned as they had bits of dirt around the rim. Waitress seemed passive aggressive the whole time while serving us. This place isn’t for me.
