I've never had a bad experience here. The owner taught herself how to make sushi and will make anything you want. If she doesn't know how to make something, she'll look it up and teach herself. She's really amazing. And it's a family owned business, so supporting your local people is a plus. I've also tried nearly all of the sushi places in Lawrence and nothing has compared to their sushi so far. I'm completely impressed.

Sushi was alright. The bowl of soup pretty big. Service could be better. Wasabi was freezer burned or old. But the place is mediocre. Nothing you will die from but not the best sushi place like some of these reviews say

Fantastic, Mahi Mahi and Hawaiian Sushi in pics, can share the Hibachi plates. Very good food. Building isn't super fancy, however you have to try it, do not drive by, if Hibachi or Sushi is your thing. On par with all the big places in Kansas City and it's hidden in Topeka on 29th st. All it is high quality and a bargain price for the sushi quality and homemade sauces, etc.

Large portions of delicious quality food! We ordered steak, chicken, and shrimp with vegetables and cooked sushi...it was amazing! The owners are wonderful people, too! Give them a chance, you will not be disappointed! I only wish I would’ve tried their restaurant sooner, it is for sale!

Everything made fresh and personally for you. Everything we tried was delicious. The price point is perfect, and the food tastes great. I come a few times a week, and I enjoy it every single time. The sushi tastes amazing, it's always fresh, and they will make whatever you request which is awesome.

The absolute best service - SO kind and just happy to serve us. The food was freshly made and tasted awesome. Portions were huge and we left feeling like we didn’t pay enough. Excited to go back just to support this woman’s business!!!
