Very pleasant and helpful staff. Nice atmosphere. We had the pulled pork nachos, half order of sliders and the Wednesday half chicken special. All the meat was very moist. The chicken was the least smokey but had a good (lemony) flavor. If you like "funeral potatoes" you will love their cheesy taters. The smoked mac n' cheese was really good as well. Looking forward to a chance to go back.

We stopped here on our way through town. Based on recommendations, we got the pulled pork nachos. They were very good. They come with just chips, cheese and pork. Then you can add additional items from a bar. Made them even better in my opinion that you get to pick how to dress them. We also got the sampler. The best part of the whole thing was the smoked chicken wings. The sausage and brisket were also good. We ordered sides- cheesy potatoes, smoked mac and cheese, smoked corn and the baked beans. All were solid. My favorite was the potatoes. Good beer selection, friendly service and nice decor make it worth the trip.

The atmosphere is very nice. The restaurant was clean and inviting. We went for a late lunch and it was empty. I got the brisket lunch sandwich with slaw and a drink. The brisket was good! The meat was tender. The roll was fresh and tasty and I love the sauce. However the slaw was pretty terrible. Absolutely no taste to the dressing on the slaw. And the price for the combo was $12. It seems pretty pricey to me. I tried the spicy BBQ sauce and it was good but too spicy for me. Wish I wasn't such a spice wimp! Hubby got the same combo as me but with mac n cheese. He liked it but also thought it was a bit pricey for a sandwich, side and drink. It was worth the trip downtown for a try, but not sure we will go back.
