Quickly jumped to the top of our favorite restaurants in the area. They focus on small plates, but the portions are perfect. Order an appetizer and an entree and you'll leave feeling satisfied, not stuffed. Always thought we'd need to drive up to Kalamazoo to find this caliber of food and are thrilled to have it in Three Rivers. We'll definitely be back!

Venue 45 is a gem! I had the pleasure of sitting right next to the kitchen where I made friends with Ralph while he was cooking for a packed house. I asked him what "I" was having for dinner and he said crab cakes so... Top 5 best things I've ever eaten. Deviled eggs and candied bacon to start. Followed by the most amazing carrot cake. The customer service was as stellar as the food. All of this made for a perfect night and place to celebrate my grandfather's 84th birthday. Thank you for making a beautiful memory for my family.

Fantastic food in a relaxed setting. From the starters of candied bacon and salads to the main small plates of short ribs and baby back ribs, just enough food is served. My initial thought of “how small are the small plates?” was quickly diffused with the right amount to quell my appetite. And the desserts are just as phenomenal. Bread pudding is wonderful and reminds me of French toast. And not to forget to mention, the bartender has a great repertoire. I asked for something to accompany the praline bread pudding dessert and gave him free reign to recommend something. I was not disappointed. As my husband said, “It’s like dining in Chicago, without the trip or the price”. Definitely recommend, and definitely returning. Good advice: have a reservation.
