We just moved to the area & we’re checking out all the local takeaways. We already tried another Indian takeaway that had much better Google reviews & it was super disappointing.
We took a punt on this despite the mixed reviews & it was really good. Will be ordering again 👍🏻

Excellent. Really tasty curry and large portions. Not sure if by mistake or just because they had some spare at the end of the night, but they gave me three naans. Much appreciated either way. Only criticism is the dishes were a little oily, but not bad.

It's not very often a food place impresses me but I had a chicken pathia tonight 😋 and I'm blown away tastes amazing chicken is a little chewy but other than that spot on good price too

Good food, always the same high standard. The onion bhajis are the best I ever had, Chicken Jalfrezi and Chicken Tikka Birjani are to die for. Yum Yum!

A meal worth going out of your way for. I just fed three teenagers all with different dietary needs (Vegetarian, Dairy intolerant and veg hater!) and we scored 100% not a mouthful was wasted, and they all agreed it was one of the best takeaway meals ever. And I reckon at about half the price of many other places. If you're vegetarian, I highly recommend the Vegetable Shatkora.

I called to see what they could recommend as I'm dairy intolerant. They were so helpful! Taking the time to explain what was available. I ordered the Murgh Mango which sounded amazing and different.(You don't normally get a choice when you have intolerances) It was delicious!! Tasted like a Korma but with mango. The bhajis were lovely and crisp and samosas also very tasty and crisp. So glad to find a new takeaway to such high standards and with excellent customer service. Will definitely visit again! Thank you

I used another Indian takeaway for years but they changed chefs & it went down hill.
I first tried this place about 6 months ago & apart from my last delivery being late & a Bit cold it's been fantastic.
The curries have so much favour. They also just do the curry sauces so I can order a sauce & add my own veggie fake meat to them.
We order about once a week & the older Indian delivery driver is so lovely.

This take away restaurant is the best Indian food in Thatcham in my opinion . We have been using it for about four or five years. We switched to it when the more expensive sit down restaurant nearby changed chef and their food went downhill. Papadom has freshly cooked food and they don't use lots of colourings like some other indian restaurants. All the dishes taste different as they aren't all made from the same base sauce. They pride themselves on this and it really shows through in their food.
