Hotel Amantran

I stayed over night in Thane and found this restaurant. This was a really nice restaurant. They have all types of vegetarian food available which tastes so good and reasonably priced. I especially liked the vada pav. I do not have pictures of the restaurant, but if you are in Thane and in that area, you should visit this.

Remember those awesome Misal Pav trips with Dad to Hotel Amantran? Well, I went back there today, and guess what? They still nail it! This time, I tried their Thalipeeth and Alu Vadi, and wow, they were even better than I imagined. The Thalipeeth was like a golden pancake, bursting with nutty flavor and just the right amount of spice. The butter on top melted into pure joy with every bite, making it a healthy treat that tasted like a warm hug. And the Alu Vadi? Crispy on the outside, with a sweetness balanced by a surprising kick of chili. Each bite was a party in my mouth! Of course, I couldn't resist their famous coconut chutney. Fresh, and perfect with the Alu Vadi. It was like a flavor fiesta on my tongue, a true taste of home. And to top it all off, a steaming cup of chai. Strong, milky, with a touch of ginger – the perfect way to wash down this amazing meal. Hotel Amantran isn't fancy, but it's got food that makes you feel good. It's like stepping back in time, reliving happy memories with every bite. So if you're looking for delicious Maharashtrian food that hits you right in the feels, Hotel Amantran is the place to be. It is located near Talao Pali. The first floor provides parcel services and the first floor has a sitting arrangement. It is a near and clean place and they have diversified their menu. Their speciality is Misal pav and the taste is the same all these years . Newly added menus include thali, south and north Indian dishes as well.

It's a famous spot for pure veg food and snacks. The taste is average. Service is also average. There is always a need to wait in a queue but not more than 15-30 minutes. Overall an averagely good place to visit to satisfy the hunger. But it is advisable to visit at least once. No parking available.Some you can park two wheeler on the front road side.

They are very well-known for their finger-licking variety of Indian street foods, especially Marathi dishes. The food is always fresh and gets served piping hot. The plus point is its reasonable pricing for all the dishes. Both quality and quantity are more than satisfactory. They have an efficient and co-operative staff to attend you. A really good place to have Misal Pav. The Misal is very delicious and has a unique taste. Served with good sized soft pavs. The price is reasonable too. The normal Misal Pav starting at Rs. 70 (as of May 2023). The buttermilk also tastes amazing. Tangy as it should be ! Only missing thing is the coriander on Misal. 😕
