Mcdonald's

Once again I stopped by for a quick breakfast sandwich combo as I often do when I am out and about early. I was not disappointed. My order was taken at the drive thru quickly. The employee at the window greeted me with a smile as I paid. Again, at the pick up window I was greeted by a friendly employee who handed me my food. It was just what I ordered and I enjoyed it very much.

Okay so today I pull up at the drive thru and give my order only to realize i didn’t have any cash or any of my credit cards with me. I told the cashier that I remembered my credit card number if she could manually punch it in. She didn’t know how so she called the manager and he didn’t have a way to put it in manually either. Without hesitation, he just used a promo code and gave two happy meals that I wanted for my twins for FREE!! Made me so happy and hopeful for the future that there are still good folks in this world with kindness!! Thank you to whoever the manager was tonight! I owe you one!!!

I went and got dinner at this location with my husband. Waited for our food like normal. A guy brings out the food and was like who ordered all this food ? looked at me and said oh must’ve been the fat girl and handed it to me. Never in my life have I had to deal with this type of situation. It almost didn’t seem real that those words were said to me.

The Summer crossing McDonalds store #5102 used to be the best McDonald's in Texarkana, but in the last 6 months they are getting terrible. The customer service is not good. They act like they don't want to be at work. And please don't ask for something extra they act like they have to pay for it. Not to mention the way they fix and serve your food is sloppy. I had said I wasn't going back to store #5102 but I continue going hoping that one day I will pull up and the McDonald's I came to love will have returned. I chose this restaurant over the others because of their poor service. So right now I'm done with McDonald's. I hope store #5102 gets back up to good standards and start back being the best McDonald's in Texarkana, TX.
