Great local spot in Taylor. The bar is in the center so there’s literally no way to avoid everyone talking loud While you are at a table around the bar. Wait staff was friendly and the food decent. Some basic table setups were not there such as small pores when the appetizers were served. Hate to pester the wait staff for these but it’s basic things that get folks irritated.

For a small town grill, I didn't have high expectations. Boy was I wrong! With a loyal local following, there was a bit of an overflow crowd there tonight. There was one server, who also tended bar and another juat learning the ropes. We kept them hoping, but not too overloaded. I ordered a steak as shown and it was incredible. Cooked to perfection, but still so juicy, I had to ask for extra napkins. Last week when I had called about going out there, about 15 miles away, the evening manager was told to close early. She was nice enough to call me back and alert me before I drove all the way there. I will definately be going back.

At first was irritated cause there was no one there eating but yet it took 20 min. For our party of 10 to get seated. But this one waitress they had named sky, she took control, got us all seated pushed tables together, took all our orders. Correctly. She was awesome. She was great with our group trying to pick on her. And we all tipped her very well. Sky your going places in life girl keep it up

Actually I was surprised. My 6 ounce sirloin was tasty and cooked properly to medium rare. It was very nice cut. I also had special ordered steamed broccoli with cheese sauce. It was to order and tasted really good. The French Onion soup I had as a starter was excellent. The only thing I have to say negative is that the waiters would not seat us and made us wait 12 minutes when there was 15 percent of capacity patronage. I literally saw 5-6 tables they could have let us sit at while they sorted out a waiter issue deciding on who was going to wait on us. Our waiter was very good 20 percent tip type waiter. I would come again. I think the were just short staffed. Good job but not great so I score them a 4.3 this time. Will give them another chance gor sure to upgrade to 5.

The service was slow. Getting the food after ordering was 30min or more. Drank my ice tea and it sat empty for 20 minutes. But the steak was good. Potatoes were not hot. All the food was warm. But it seems it was sitting at the window for some time. Daughter says the salmon was dry. So. Not such a good experience. The place was decorated nice though.

Walked in, sign said wait to be seated. We waited 5 min then a friendly guy at the bar got up and got a hostess from the back. Waited 5 min for a waitress. Ordered appetizer and she brought it with no silverware, napkins or plates. After 5 min, I got napkins myself. She brought tea no sweetner as requested or spoon. Got our meal and my wife's was over cooked. We finished and waited 20 min for check. Not a good place to eat.
