Whataburger

I gave it 3 stars (would have given 3.5 if it was an option) because the employees were really friendly and handled our missing onions rings with no hesitation. Problem was the reason we were missing our onion rings is because we were given the wrong order all together. Sad thing is we only looked in the bag to make sure we were given onion rings instead of fries and didn't think to check the burgers. Ugh bad decision on our part. Lesson learned. After sitting in the drive thru line for 15 mins we pulled away from the window. Big mistake. Will sit there til I completely check my entire order before driving off for now on. My friend looked in the bag and saw 2 orders of fries no onion rings. Well the line for the drive thru was about 9 or 10 cars (at least) long and now days pretty much all lobbies are still closed for some unknown reason. 🙄So I had to pull over and call. Told the employee what was wrong and he said he would have the onion rings right out. Pull into space 3. And let him know when we get back to the restaurant. I told him we were still there and I would pull around. Unfortunately now I was blocked in by someone who was in the drive thru line. Who clearly didn't care to back up or move up so I could back out🤬 so after sitting there for another 8 mins waiting for the drive thru line to move I was finally able to backout and move to space 3. Very friendly employee came out and gave me the onion rings. Said she had come out looking for me and didn't see me. Told her all good was blocked in by a car. She had great customer service along with the gentleman who answered my call. She asked if everything else was OK. We said oh ya. Not thinking we should check our bag. She asked at least 3 times if the rest of our order was ok. Should have caught the hint. Lol When we got home we opened our bags and realized yep this wasn't our food. But oh well we should have checked . We were gonna eat what we got rather then drive back 20 mins to return the food. Well that's what we thought until we opened the burgers. I'm sorry but they were horrifying. I know everyone is cutting back on the meat yet raising the prices but I have never had a whataburger that was this thin and looked like it came from McDonald's. This isn't the whataburger food I'm used to. So the employees get the stars here. The time it took in the drive thru and the preparation of the food we did receive gets a big fat 0 stars. The onions rings and fries were good.

Drive thru was packed but it’s the one 24 hour food place in town so that’s expected. After paying I had to wait almost 20 minutes or so for food. By that time it was cold. I don’t know if the Dr Pepper shake comes premade or they have to mix something in it but it was disgusting. I like Whataburger but man this one sucked.
